Phelon, the problem is in your delivery. You come across as an arrogant foot-stamper and got treated as such. That's the way of the world.
Running your own company, I'm sure you recognise that managing relationships (not just customer service) is actually key to making a company work, and that has to go in all directions - including your suppliers. That just didn't come across in your initial post, which means the thread got derailed by indignant members of the community in which you find yourself.
And that's a real shame, because the problem you report is similar to one my wife's been experiencing on her two-screen setup, and I was hoping for something more constructive than this. I will get her to try the DWM restart though - that's something we hadn't tried.
The only difference between your reported problems and hers is that she doesn't get the "warning lag" you're talking about. The window pops over to screen 1 ok, then sometimes just refuses to go back to screen 2, and that continues until we restart KC.
The number of swaps doesn't seem to make much difference, and neither did questioning the parenthood of the PC, randomly cursing, praying or bashing the keyboard 8|
