Need Help downloading .NET Framework 3.5

Hey, I've read a couple of stickies and decided I wanted to use octopus for my dual-boxing. I downloaded the VCR 2008, but when I download 3.5 It says it's not a valid win32 application. I've googled it and seareched all I get is to clean it up with a program I used that re-dl'd 3.5 and still the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Almost sounds like the file is getting corrupted.
Delete the file you have download and do a checkdisk:

1. right click hard drive and select properties
2. Click the Tools Tab
3. Click Check Now button in the error checking are
4. Under Check Disk Options, check both boxes

Re-boot and let it do its thing.

Re-download the file from the microsoft.com website. Also make sure you are downloading the right version taking into account if it is xp or vista, and 32 or 64 bit.

Try again. If it fails there is something wrong with your OS.

Make sure you're not getting a 64 bit version of the application also.
