About focusing lag

I run into a problem about focusing and the lag. I target one person, then target a 2nd and my other 3 toons will stay on focus on the 1st target I selected. Any ways to fix this?

It's down to the time required for the server to register that you've changed targets.
I just spam the E button (my "take focus' target" macro) 3 or 4 times each time I want them to grab my target and they always get it by the 4th

This happens to me on my locks when i am in say AV and just tab spamming people with dots.

One thing you can do is after you click on them, wait half a second, then press the spell button. For whatever reason the half a second delay seems to make 90% difference to me.
