Wow.. 5-boxing doesn't require so much money to be spent though. Why be in such a rush with everyone around here answering this question plenty of times. You can get along JUST fine with something like this:
q9450 $330
asus p5q-e p45 $160
8gb (2x4gb ocz ddr2-800) $221
hd 4850 $170 x2 = $340
750gb samsung f1 hdd (32mb / sata 3.0gb/s) $110
samsung DVDR/CDR sata w/lightscribe $30
seasonic m12 700w psu $170
cpu cooler.. thermalright 120 ultra $60 or thermalright ifx $80
vista64 ultimate $180
antec p182 case $140
$1761 with case and ifx heatsink.. and you'll still have 2 more RAM slots to upgrade to 16GB (which this mobo supports, the striker 2 extreme maxes out at 8gb.) The CPU/mobo will overclock to QX9650 speeds, so it's a great way to have virtually the same performance for $1000 less.
