    Default Performance Problems

    Hi at all,

I’m just starting with multiboxing, it is lot of fun, but I have some performance problems. In the big cities frame rate of my main char window goes down to 5 fps, so it is nearly impossible to play there.

I have no experiences, so I don't know what the bottleneck of my setup is. I play on a single computer with two displays. I traced that only 1,5 GB Memory is in use while playing with all 5 chars, I have 4 GB so I think that memory is not an issue. I have 4 CPU Cores. They are running on < 50% while playing, so CPU is not an issue too.

I have 2 displays with a resolution of 1680X1050, one for my main char an 1 for the others. Maybe my GForce 9800 GTX cannot handle it?

Or is the network the problem, I have only 3 MBit bandwidth?

    Any ideas?

check to see if you are in horizontal view or dual view. flip and compare.

but that will only effect normal fps.. not drop it in the cities (i'd try it anyhow)

are you restraining your fps on your alts? did you set the maxfps and maxfpsbk?

I allready set the maxfps for my alts to 20. Dont know what maxdpsbk is, I'am not on my gaming computer know. I will try to flip the view later an report the results.

    Thanks for help

maxdpsbk is the same as maxdps except it takes effect if it is not the focused application (i.e. it is in the BacKground). I set maxdpsbk to 5 so my system can handle more characters then it should. :P
