To minimize the effect of last-minute groundings, spell reflects and so on.. put your big nuke macro on round robin, and spam it for a very quick, but spread out sequence of CLs.
Worst case, you will land 3 of them, right?
What do you think?

You should work on getting 4 to land
Both spellreflect and grounding have a CD and both can be purged.
I think I'm missing something here, are you saying you can purge a grounding totem? If so, I was'nt aware of that.Originally Posted by 'Dominian',index.php?page=Thread&postID=99351#post 99351
The grounding effect as such is not purged, but the totem eats the offensively casted spell, Purge.

Purge will only work on those if your target has a purgable buff. If not it wont do anything. In fact you wont cast it at all.
This makes purge a bit unreliable spell to remove grounding totem since you most likely (should) have purged down your target before burning you NS/EM. Rank 1 shock could be an alternative if you cant remove it with purge.
