Distribute Loot? & Getting Slaves to accept quests

Hello,

I am really new to Multi-boxing.

I got Keyclone today and set up some trial accounts and have been playing around with 3-Boxing.

I got all the assist/follow macros but i cant seem to figure out how to get my slaves to all accept a quest, and if I do figure that out, how would I go about doing quests where you need to collect a certain amout of items off a mob or in the world? I dont know how i could distribute the loot to the slaves.

Also,

I really want to 3 Box but I also REALLY dont want to pay $45 (plus upgrading both accounts to TBC/WotLK) a month for it either. I am thinking about Dual Boxing but it seems less productive and fun. I would love to be able to solo instances. Any encouraging words regarding duel boxing would be much appreciated.

Try to search for Multiboxer V2 on the forum. it should be somewhere in the macro/addon section.

It allows u to autoaccept quests on all slaves.

To distrubute loot, i personally, just select the window i want to loot with and shift loot it. (i use FFA with my main checking loot first).

Collection quests pretty much same, i use my laptop first to collect, (i hold shift on my main PC and click with the wireless mouse.) And on the rest i just shift loot. Collection quests will always be a shitty thing to do unless they got a really high drop rate.

I am 5 boxing myself, so i cannot help u with the 3box/2box question really

thanks for the info, i will look into the Multiboxer V2, that sounds very helpful, i guess there is no way around the collection quests then. I am 3 boxing on my laptop so to keep the frame rate up i minimize all the slave windows so its a pain to have to loot on each toon. Oh well....

Is 5 boxing not horribly expensive for a game? thats $75 a month. But i guess its fine for some people.

That question comes up alot, and it's a matter of perspective.

Some people make sacrifices / work extra hard to support their multi-box hobby, whereas I, and many others here, could lose that down the back of the sofa and not even notice.

Use the maximizer from keyclone. to organise your windows nicely.

About the 5 boxing being expensive, as mentioned above some people got this money to spare. As him, i barely notice it on a monthly basis

I run in to people in-game and they say the same thing - "you must be rolling in dough!"

But honestly, it's cheaper than a weekend in a bar... and it keeps me out of the bar, so i don't mind

As far as loot - I set my main as the loot master and set it so that only corpses with greens or better sparkle. Any greens get distributed by right-clicking on it and selecting the appropriate slave. I am boosting, so my focus is on xp not gold.

however i am a college student and cannot really spend that kind of cash, it hurts even thinking about paying for 3 boxing.



About the loot. I was mainly thinking about the collection quests but i guess ill just use the maximizer to solve that problem.

If anyone has any good 3 boxing stories about soloing instances feel free to share them.
