Dunemaul (PvP) on the Cyclone Battlegroup is decent with 3 5 boxers here that I know of (including myself). Horde tend to have a slightly higher population here and the pvp is slightly horde favored, however I'm not an overly serious PvPer. Theres a couple of guilds here that do premades with high resilience requirements and I'm assuming they do pretty well (The Three Badge Program tends to be hosting these the most often). As far as PvE theres a couple of guilds in Black Temple and starting to make dents in Sunwell (WoWjustu Ally Page)
Otherwise as far as Dunemaul Ally multiboxers we have a guy who boxes a warlock and 4 shamans, a buddy of mine who does a multiclass group of a Tankadin, Warlock, Mage, Shammy and Priest and myself with a Tankadin, 3 mages and a holy priest, working on a 5 shammy team (currently 51) and a half dozen other 70s laying around. Most of the ally folks seem to accept multiboxers and I've only had to ignore a couple of people for being fucktards.
Overall Dunemaul is decent, with a slight horde bias but still very viable for alliance. If you do roll your toons here look me up (usually on Maivis or Salienna or just ping anyone in the <Coffee Good Sleep Bad> Guild)
You know you've been playing to much WoW when your Girlfriend's pants are a rare drop.
I play Alliance on Cho'gall. Just yesterday I saw another 5-boxer on that server so that brings the grand total of multiboxers on that server (that I know of) to...2.
I chose Cho'gall because it's in a BG where Alliance wins EotS, WSG, and AB most of the time at 70 (and 70's all I care about). AV is close to 50/50. I know this because I have a Horde Paly on Stormreaver (same BG).
I've only had one negative comment towards me, everyone else seems interested.

Wait. Again! Ouch. It is disturbing to me that all ally are seen as having "gameplay issues"... as implied in your post. No criticism of you. I just feel like not all ally are bad. I have a 70 ally hunter on SC and i have pvped for the merc xbow, shoulders and gloves. I have never waited an hour for que, i would hate to wait an hour for que. When i que up i get a bg in under one minute if i am in que for three bgs. If i am in que for only one bg i can wait from 2 to 15 minutes... but that is the same as horde side for me.Originally Posted by 'Draz',index.php?page=Thread&postID=99368#post9936 8
If gameplay was awful everywhere for ally and if que times everywhere were awful for ally then i would probably roll horde but i don't think that is the case. I would choose better visuals over slightly better pvp racials. The game is very visual and so that dimension is important for me.
Thanks to Jaese and Caffiend86 for those helpful replies! Jaese that info on realms is exactly what i was looking for. I will check out that realm.
Draz do you really find all ally to be that sad?
there are four of us Alliance mboxers on Hyjal. our guild is called the X Five.
if you are starting out new I would suggest making invite a friend accounts and getting the tripple XP all the way to 60.
X Five, a Galakrond alliance guild for multiboxers
pally/shaman (thiliander/xenoca) , Shaman/Hunters (Zhedrar), Priest/Warlocks(Yarili,Yarlii,Yariil,Yarlli,Yarill)
Hey Catamer thanks!
I did just that. I am loving the bonus xp. I started on Shadowsong but i am not that far into leveling now... so i will look around and maybe start new or xfer later.
I know there is some good guilds on Shadowsong for ally and it is in the battlegroup i know best so far so that is why i went there.
I want to check out that realm where the AV is 50/50 from above now too.
I am enjoying hearing about people experience with their realm and battlegroup so anyone else who would like to chime in and share perspective please do.
i used http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/us as a guide when I resub'd, it lists realms by PVE progression. I picked Blackrock since its #2 in PVE progression in USA, is a PVP server, has very strong horde presence (im horde), is in battlegroup 9 (which people say is the most competitive), and has a very short ping time for me in the west coast (20-30ms).
A high pop server is nice because the economy is very vibrant and good progression is nice because its very easy getting into Kara, heroics, and 25 man pugs. I've run a couple of sunwell trash farming PUGs and every day there are mag/gruul pugs, and on weekends a few Hyjal and Naxx pugs as well. I would have never seen Sunwell on my older PVP server![]()
Thanks for that link that is awesome info.
I will use it as i am considering where i want to be.
Want to say why you prefer a pvp server? How is leveling on a pvp server and how is running around at 70? Do you level a lot in instances?
Leveling on a PvP realm really depends on the server time and if you're OK with skipping high-profile gank areas like southshore/STV. If you're patient enough to wait in ghost form until someone leaves out of boredom, you'll do fine. Just expect people to interrupt your leveling sometimes and work through it. Once you have a team of 70's that can log on and protect you when you're facing a ganker, they'll leave you alone.Originally Posted by 'Rowdysattva',index.php?page=Thread&postID=99196#p ost99196
In Archimonde's case, there's usually horde raiding an alliance city at least once a week. Population on archi is SLIGHTLY tilted in horde favor. Progression used to favor Horde, but the #1 horde guild on the server has since disbanded/xfered (so I hear) and alliance has now caught up. There are only a couple Alliance guilds in Sunwell -- my guild got server first M'uru last week.
Oh, and for reference, we were I think 7th to last to open the gem vendor. As in like... a week ago. PvE progression really sucks, but it's also a sideways boon since we rarely get guilds that raid more than 3x per week and server firsts are still achievable.
There's danger enough being on a server with known multiboxers. You've got the benefit that some horde guilds know not to mess with us because they know our mains are a snap away. But then you get the "world pvp" gank guilds that also know how to exploit multiboxer weaknesses since they've gotten some practice. They like to harass Suvega when he's on his PvE group (tank, healer, 3x mage) doing dailies.
If you want a BG where alliance wins most battles, Stormstrike is not for you. AV is nearly always a loss, except when premades are involved. It's gotten a bit better, but you'll still be lucky to win 50% of the games. EotS, AB, WSG are all typical alliance -- we are about 50/50 even with pugs on everything but EotS -- for some reason alliance pugs keep going for the flag when we only have 1 base, and do other stupid things like fighting midfield.Anywhere i can see which realms ally does ok in 70 pvp? Maybe the presence of a good multi-boxer really helps any bg? I have been very active in the 29, 39, and 49 bg's with horde and ally so far... but nothing much at 70 (just on a friends account with a trash hunter). On shadow council we seem to win almost every AV and lose almost every other bg, we win some of the others and we lose some AV but mostly we win AV and lose everything else.
Ah, yes. My hiatus. I apologize if I put anyone in a panic. Heh.Oh and i have been gone for months. When i was here last you were away. I am glad to see you again.
Cheer
