(WoW) New Recruit a Friend Incentive - TRIPLE XP

Surprised not to see a discussion on this. WoWs latest recruit a friend incentive is nuts. Free mount, free play time etc and TRIPLE !!!! XP for all involved players when they are grouped together. Thats is triple XP for both quests and kills. Both have to be grouped together, but if you are boxing you can now get triple XP for your whole group if all accounts apart from one are new. Kick in the nuts for me - I started a new 5 box team less than three weeks ago after a year or so away.

I did look and I still don't see a thread on it other than this one - the existing thread linked above is in the General Forum under Dual Boxing, not this MMORPG forum, where I'd expect it to be. Theres no need to be a rude, ignorant ass. Apologies to the forum staff for starting a new thread.


Confirmed that it works fine with a lvl 70 in the party boosting the two linked accounts. It doesn't matter if mobs are grey to the booster - they only have to give XP to the linked account.

That's because nearly every post about it is discussing the multi-boxing aspect of RAF - which means the posts are going in the General Multiboxing Forum.

I don't really know why we have 2 "general" forums though, but I guess this one is more meant for non-multiboxing-related discussion of MMORPGs (although it's actually just a less-used clone of the other general forum to be honest).

I always thought the "General" forum was "WoW General" and the "MMORPG General" was basicall "Everything-but-WoW General".

My impression was that the other was for general multiboxing related stuff and this one was for anything having to do with MMORPGs. It does seem like people tend to use this one more for non-WoW stuff though, multiboxing or not.
