Default New to all this. Need alittle push in the right direction.

I am wanting to start 2boxing my wow accounts. I have 3 computers with a total of 3 monitors. All im really wanting to use this for is to lvl my toons together. I think all i really need for what im wanting to do is to be able to able to control 2 toons at once. Like looting same corpse and gettin quest and what not. What would be the easyest/cheapest way for me to be able to do this and what exactly will i need to do this? Like i said i have Enough computers to do it on or i could even do it on just one, i would like to make this as easy as possible.

    Thanks in advance

A nice little addon to help with questing and setting follow is Multiboxer - a link to the forum thread is here. [Addon] Multiboxer V2

The addon will help with quest givers, flight paths, if someone breaks follow and if you want even resume follow after combat.

If you wanted to do full control from one machine to the other 2(or other 2 windows) you need some other software such as Keyclone (link at top of forum page), Autohotkey, Hotkeynet, or Octopus. Or you could go the hardware route with multiplexors or wireless keyboards.

But most importantly please read the stickies, the wiki and the various forum post on how to set things up. We have some folks even making videos on how to do this in our Video section.

    Good luck!

I don't know...I pretty much figured it out by reading the wiki. I'm not doing a lot of the fancy macro stuff you guys are, but getting AHK + Bongos + follow/assist macros took me all of 20 minutes

    Very cool.

The Macros Codex here is *very* good, as a place to start, as is the Wiki, and more in-depth material is on Wowwiki - I just spent some time tonight updating my team's macros, and boy, do they make a *huge* difference, I'm killing effortlessly now, in the Eastern Plaguelands.

Start out simple, with basic things, like healing, mounts, things like that, and build up to the more complex ones, like spell rotation or totem droppers.
