Consolidating opinions on when to BG

In the end it all comes down to what u like the most. Some ppl love to level up boxing teams, and think they will have valuable accounts if they level many chars. Guess what? they will.
But i am too tired to level chars again. I leveled 5 70's solo and a team of 5 boxing. Theres a chance to try 5 locks and 5 hunters, but thats all, i dont think i can level again a whole team, it's too much XP :P
So, it comes down to what u like to do the most, with or without a close expansion, i like to gear up.

Havel what AZQ said is right on. I got my wsg and ab marks at level 59. I plan on getting all the eots marks at 69. Then all I have to do is av premade to gear them up. I have my fill in team at lvl 66 right now. I am not going to go nuts trying to gear fully. However, they will have decent gear. I may hire a healer once my 2 shaman reach 70 that way I can 5v5. At this point I dont have much time to play so I cant grind to much.

You really really dont have to do AV premades to win when you are mulitboxing. All you do is defend galv and take back towers for a 90% win.

Clean av: i go to Balinda, erase their first attack, get SH bunker back, and proceed.
Gay av: i go to Balinda with 20 followers, erase everyone rushing, get bunkers back...and everyone is owning at noobhill lol

Well I started doing AB & WSG this weekend as I dinged 59, AB was great as I would basically just camp a node and hold it.

WSG was an entirely different issue though. I just can't figure out how to effectively use this pally 4xshaman team. I felt like I just floundered the whole time and had barely a 50-50 win ratio.

drop the pally and allow another person in to "roam free" and away from your team, or let someone else play your pally for you. Playing as 4 dps and having to heal yourself is way too complex, i dont care how good you are its not as productive. I still find WSG a challenge, but i have a much better win ratio than 50/50

What do you mean by "taking back the towers?" I heard a few people bring that up, but no one would explain it when asked...

well... as horde u have 4 towers...as ally u have 4 bunkers. 2 near galv and 2 near balinda. 2 towers at drek and 2 at vanndar.

when the enemy caps them, u have to go there, and cap them back to ur side, or else, it will be one less warmaster protecting ur last boss.

must be difficult to see it clearly, u'll know what i mean in no time

I'm doing this purely for getting marks at 59 so I don't have to do it at 70. If I drop my pally then he's going to be out of luck.

I see the logic, i'm in a similar situation, i have 4 shaman and a pally too, however, i rarely bother with the pally as i always ask for someone from the guild to be my healing bitch. It works a lot better and leaves me to pew pew.

You will have a lot better luck @ 70 when you are in AV's, you can drag your pally along on follow and nobody will care. You will be doing the damage of 10 men and turning the bgs around for your team to go in your favour.

so the choices are, continue to struggle or ditch it and pick it up later (imo).

I've actually ditched my pally totally, as i did plan to do PvE instances with it, but realised life would be so much easier with 5 shaman. Plus if i am playing 5 shaman in PVP it means all 5 of my toons are being useful instead of having a leeching pally on follow. :> Unfortunately my 5th shaman is only 18 and i struggle to find the will to level it
