Account tpyes for your "slaves"

OK i have TBC up on my main account that I have had for years. With the new 'invite a friend' going live i have finally decided to take the plunge. One question that still gets to me that i cant seem to find a direct answer to is the following

1) Main account has TBC

2) 2-4 (slaves) will be "invite a friend" and thus will be trial accounts.

The question is for accounts 2-4 I will have to upgrade them to Normal then TBC. In singapore its like $65 each for the disks for Normals + TBC. I will have to spend 130 x 4 in order to get 4 accounts up to spec as my main?

2nd question. Assuming that all accouts are at TBC level (ie i can lev to 70 on them) Do i have to have 5 seperate installs of wow on my pc or can i run 5 of them from 1 install using keyclone?

Yes you will need to upgrade your slaves with both wow and tbc to reach 70 then WOTLK to hit 80!

If wow+ Tbc costs $130 it will cost you a total of $520 but you will recive 1 month free of play on your slaves and 1 month free of play on your "main" account as soon as you paid your first month on your slaves.

You can run wow from the same folder but its not recomended even thought i cant remember the reason!

OK i can start 4 new accounts as trials with invite a friend. From there I get 10 free days and will upgrade via online for 20 buck and then get tbc next month or so for 30 bucks. Its a painful process in terms of payment but will be worth it in the end

So I should have 5 different directorys of wow then and run keyclone set to each different instance? I have 500g gig drive its a non issue but seems like a huge waste of space.

i cant answer for 100% sure if you realy need to have 5 different locations but you should buy retails copys tbh as i and several other had major issues upgrading my accounts to normal.

This definitely falls into the "frequently asked" category, and you can dig up all the advice and discussion you could ever want / need just by using the search facility.
