It doesn't stack, but triple xp time won't use rested xp, so theoretically you'll have max rested when hit 60.

lol....I think I'll give it a few weeks to see if they nerf it before I go buying more accounts. Seems like there's also conflicting information about whether it is intended to work from the same billing address or not (GM says not supposed to but in-game experience shows it is).

    Hmmmmm.......

I somehow doubt this will be nerfed (well, maybe the boosting with a 70 part, if it actually works for 3x XP right now)
That's what I was saying. I believe the "boosting with a 70 who is not involved with refer-a-friend" will be nerfed since it continues to give 3x the XP. It's personal opinion at this point, but judging by Syndri's responses it doesn't sound like the dev team anticipated that.

For a brief moment my accounts showed linked... but no longer... hell one of my accounts is still in trial but I already applied the battlechest keys to it... I'm so pissed about the timing on this right now... I hope they decide to retro it a little.

    Default Recruit-a-Friend XP bonus tested

    OK, here's what I did.

Use the Refer-a-friend from one account and create a trial account. Then create 2 L1 Gnome Warlocks on each account and a 3rd L1 Gnome Warlock on an unlinked account. I have a L70 on a 4th unlinked account.
    Solo kill a L1 wolf on each L1 toon : 50XP
    Group unlinked L1's and kill a L1 wolf: 25xp
    Group linked L1's and kill a L1 wolf : 75XP (3 x 25)
    Group all 3 L1s and kill a L1 wolf, 19XP for unlinked, 57XP for each linked (3 x 19XP)

    Group a L70 with one L1, kill a L1 wolf : 1xp
    Group a L70 with both linked L1's and kill a L1 wolf : 3xp
    Group a L70 with all 3 L1's, kill a wolf : 1xp for unlinked, 3xp for linked.

So that pretty much covers it.

Additionally, Summon a Friend as well as Grant a Level are available from the right click menu on the character portrait.

Summon a Friend appears to be a spell you cast, ~3 second cast time, upon which the target gets the "foo is summoning you to blah, [accept] [cancel]" dialog just like the other summon spells work.

It seems that granting a level gives you however much XP is in your current level, although there is no entry in the log for the XP gain. I had 206 XP in level 2 and granted myself a bump to L3, upon which I still had 206XP.
One more thing - the Grant a Level feature does not work over long range, I needed to summon my alt out to my location before I was able to grant him a level.

As per the Blizzard Support article, a character on the new account grants the level up to a character on the account that recruited them.

"For every two levels the new player earns, the new player can grant one free level-up to a lower-level character played by the veteran player."
