Buy 6 accounts and refer 5. Then level as normal..... basically throw the 6th away. I haven't given this more than 10 seconds of thought but seems at first glance to be a way to get 5 zebras and all the rest of the benefits.

1 recruits 2 which recruits 3 which recruits 4 which recruits 5 which recruits 6.

1 Has not been recruited so you can toss it?

I have to read up on this more but what do you think?
Sounds good to me. I just went ahead and bought more accounts and tested this. With chain recruiting, it works just fine. Each account is linked to the next, and I enjoyed the huge amount of experience killing a boar in durotar

You'll have to create a 6th and scrap it if you want mounts on all 5.

I didn't even think twice about dropping the cash on brand new accounts. Screw my level 40 shammies...I'll just catch up in no time and come out way ahead

So I started leveling my shaman team 3 days ago and I noticed the announcement today. Luckily I only paid for one account and the other 3 were on trials. So I deleted the chars. Reissued the friend invites by staggering accounts. That way 3 of my 4 accounts get the mount and everyone gets 300% xp. Had a friend start boosting me tonight on his level 70 mage. He is not associated with any recruit a friend and I was still getting absolutely insane xp. I went from 1-23 in 4.5 hours played time. The escort quest in Razorfen Kraul, at level 22, yielded me 10950xp...... this is definately amazing. I also plan on saving my granted levels until 70 so I will have 35 on 3 of the 4 characters. I then plan on boosting 3 new characters to level 25 and using the free 35 levels to get them to 60 I love blizzard for this one!!!

Ohhh and this is my first time actively trying to boost a character so I know I have a lot to learn.

you would need to buy 4 new accounts and upgrade them to TBC
For clarification -- TBC would be necessary here if you were to xfer from your main account to the trial account. TBC is not necessary if you are transferring from the trial (using vanilla WoW) to your main account. You will still get a zhevra mount as long as the vanilla WoW account pays for 2 full months of playtime.

I think you toss 6. The account that does the recruting gets the mount.

A lot of the information is spread out a bit in this thread and I just want to see if this scenario would work. I don't have a toon I can boost with (level 24 druid, though). I just want to have 5 accounts who benefit from the XP. I'm Tauren and seeing an Orc is so huge on that mount I think it would look too goofy for the larger Tauren. I don't have any high level toons on any of my current accounts so I don't mind deleting them after all is said and done.

Since I am not worried about the mount I can just recruit 4 new accounts from my main account and all will be linked and good to go? Sorry if this is obvious from previous posts in the threads but my coffee is not kicking in very good this morning.

And if I understand it correctly, I could then start leveling the toons on a trial-account and upgrade them before the 10 days are up and they would benefit from the XP gains during that time?

SO giving it some furthur thought the most economical method for someone concerned with just the xp for 5 toons would be to buy three new accounts (assuming you already have at least two, that way existing account one recruits two new accounts and account two recruits one new existing account, this will lead to the 3x exp for everybody.

Then you get 3 accounts who can grant bonus levels which means you loose out on at least one accounts gift levels, but save the money from buying 2 to three more accounts...

    Tough decision there.

    OK how does this sound:
I want 4 shammies to complement my 5 box team and I'm not worried about the mounts - zebra schmevra. So, I RAF 2 accounts from 1 account which gives me 2 shammies on the new accounts and I create 1 shammy on the vet account. I level these 3 shammies normally getting 300% xp no boosting, but will have my 70 priest or 70 Prot Pally follow them around and heal occasionaly or get them out of trouble if required. When they get to 60 they should have 30 levels each to gift to the vet account. I then create another shammy on the vet and instantly level him to 60 with the gifts and I transfer him to one of the other box accounts, the 2 shammies on the new accounts are then transferred to my vet accounts and the new accounts are closed. I now have 4 shammies at 60 who can level together and roll in my prot pally as the fifth. The benefit of this is that the xp isn't diluted so much because there's only 3 in the group while levelling to 60, also the $$$ value as it's only 2 more accounts.

I went ahead and did a recruit and created my new accounts. They are all linked to my main. So I guess I am good to go.

I was thinking, instead of creating a new toon to level these with I would just use my level 24 druid as the main and evenutally the other toons should catch up. And I can then use my level gifts to boost it to a higher level. I guess it would be cool to have a higher level toon as main for utility purposes but not sure how that will affect the XP.

Hey everyone, i'm new around here, though i've been reading stuff for a couple weeks.

I was on the fence about 5 boxing. But when i saw this promotion, it put me over the top. As if god was giving me a sign that now was the time.

I couldn't have planned it better.

I added 4 accounts yesterday, each account referring the next account. At one point it wouldn't let me add the last account, so i had to call Blizz. The rep confirmed that i was completely within the rules to refer myself to myself. Even though it wasn't how they intended it to be used.

The only thing i'm not sure about now is when all this kicks in. I set it up as a monthly recurring charge. So i know the mount wont get to me for a while. but i hope the xp bonus start immediately. I'd hate to have to wait 2 months for that to start as well.

Maybe i should go buy timecards.
