Look at that posting by the blue at ( http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...sid=1&pageNo=4 ) looks like the CMs are saying that this works for multi-boxing.

I was 5 boxing but have dropped down to 2 boxing looks like I might start 5 boxing again.

I am not even going to consider trying this kind of thing, they will not allow you to recruit yurself ... And I am going to make sure everything on all 26 accounts is exactly the same.

Why dont you stright up ask the question you need the answer to:

Hi, I own and paid for two completly seperate accounts, can I recruit myself on my 2nd account from my first account.

Sam -- read the post Mlwhitt linked.

It SPECIFICALLY states that recruit-a-friend'ing yourself, with the purpose of multiboxing, is perfectly fine.

    Q u o t e:
Will this work if I open up a second account for myself?

What I mean is, will I still receive the benefits of this offer if I use it to start another account and multibox with it.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will! That is, so long as prescribed leveling requirements are met.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Q u o t e:
Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?
No, only when you are partied with a character on the linked account and both players are present when slaying the monster or completing the quest. Also, if the two characters are not the same level, only the lower-level character is given the experience boost.

    Is quest experience tripled too?
Yes, but only if the quest was not trivial (gray difficulty) for either character.

    Do normal experience rules apply?
Yes, if a monster is trivial to either player, no experience boost is given.

How does this affect / stack with Rest State experience?
While you are partied with a linked recruit, any Rest State you have accumulated is not consumed. Only the tripled experience from the Recruit-A-Friend program is applied.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your question has been "straight up" answered.

Let's not make hasty assumptions. You may recruit-a-friend on your own accounts -- I mean, you can be a friend to yourself, right?

    EDIT: And again....

    1. Would it be against the rules to recruit yourself? That is, buying my own second account and leveling it to get the benefits.

    2. Does the recruiting have to be faction-specific? So if I recruit myself, or a friend for that matter, and they choose Alliance (I'm Horde) do you still get the benefits?
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1) You are absolutely welcome to do so!

    2) Should your trial-friend upgrade and remain active for 60 days (or subscribe immediately for 3 months or 6 months recurring), your veteran account will be eligible for a mount regardless of factional difference. Benefits to leveling (ie - can you gift level cross-faction) I'm confirming right now.

    I'll get back to you!

Not sure where you heard that. You've always been able to recruit-a-friend an additional account under your name. This new feature is no different. Please don't give out misinformation. A blue poster said:

My son says to me today, "Dont you wish you would have waited?" (Recruited myself on Aug, 2) :*[ I'm going to at least ask Blizz if they'll give me a break. Doubtful, I understand, but nothing ventured.....
