Well, I called customer service to verify a few questions I had.

Q- Does the new account, recruit a friend, be under a completely different name, billing address and email address. ( I know this may be a noob question but I had to ask it!)
A- Yes, the account name must be different from the inviting account. The billing address and payment method does not have to be different.

Q- Do all my characters, on the inviting account, receive the new mount?
A- Only one character will be able to redeem the mount redemption coupon code.

Sorry if this is repeat information.

Are they saying the account OWNER's name has to be different or that the account LOGIN name needs to be different?

Because the latter makes more sense. After all, no two accounts can have the same login information.

    account owner informations

for example on my account I am Tom Jones
2454 OMG street Tn, blah blah

The invite friend must have a different name Sally Sukcy
    2454 Omg .......

I did not ask about login info....O.o funny thing is, I never even pondered about, "What if two accounts had the same login info?" Wow, mindblowing, if you really think about it lol

Stop QQing, this benefits new and old.

New players and multiboxers get better leveling.

You gain a New mount, better leveling, instant leveling.

Not to mention you can level new teams this way, level a new team and insta powerlevel 4 or 5 characters on one account to help powerlevel other teams.

    Q u o t e:
Will this work if I open up a second account for myself?

What I mean is, will I still receive the benefits of this offer if I use it to start another account and multibox with it.

You will! That is, so long as prescribed leveling requirements are met.

    Q u o t e:
Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?
No, only when you are partied with a character on the linked account and both players are present when slaying the monster or completing the quest. Also, if the two characters are not the same level, only the lower-level character is given the experience boost.

    Is quest experience tripled too?
Yes, but only if the quest was not trivial (gray difficulty) for either character.

    Do normal experience rules apply?
Yes, if a monster is trivial to either player, no experience boost is given.

How does this affect / stack with Rest State experience?
While you are partied with a linked recruit, any Rest State you have accumulated is not consumed. Only the tripled experience from the Recruit-A-Friend program is applied.

I'm going to assume at minimum the first names on each account must be different.
Do not assume this, nor do it.

Any discussion about forging account names on threads in order to exploit the new refer a friend features will be promptly deleted from this thread, or if it gets bad enough, result in a thread lock.

I know you weren't encouraging anyone do this -- but I forsee it might get out of hand. Just be careful about what you ask/say -- that's all I'm asking.
