Thanks very much! That clears things up. Have boosted a few alts so far this week, nearly had a fit when I read his postOriginally Posted by 'Hachoo',index.php?page=Thread&postID=119087#post1 19087

Personal experience (we should have a RaF tab in the Wiki I would think):
Vet Mage -> 59.9
Vet Priest -> 32.9
Friend Druid -> 60.1
Vet Shammie -> 59.9
Vet Shammie2 -> 32.9
Friend Pally -> 60.1
Friend Druid grants 1 level to Vet Mage (to 60.9), 28 levels to Vet Priest (to 60.9).
Friend Pally grants 1 level to Vet Shammie (to 60.9), 28 levels to Vet Shammie2 (to 60.9).
This worked fine, ending up with:
Mage 60.9
Priest 60.9
Druid 60.1
Shammie 60.9
Shammie2 60.9
Pally 60.1
Rudi's Angels of Baelgun: Josii (Prot Pally), Suzii (Resto Shammie), Tracii (Ele Shammie), Lorii (Boomkin) and Trudii (Frost Mage).
This is my plan, which I'll be able to test this weekend:
Main unlinked account: 70 Pally
Alt account 2 invited RAF account 4
Alt account 3 invited RAF account 5
Pally is boosting a team of 4 shaman, and a team of 2 mages/locks. When they are both at 60, accounts 4 & 5 will be able to grant accounts 2 & 3 58 levels respectively. I will then power up 2 more sets of teams to 30 and gift accounts 2 & 4 to 60. This will give me 10 more 60s in a very short period of time.
So, in less than a few weeks I have several full teams with good rotation toons:
Pally, 3 Mages, Priest
Pally, 4 Shaman
Warrior, Hunter, Druid, Rogue (can sub these in to make things interesting)
That's not counting the extra toons that were used to get certain ones to 60. And there is plenty of time to level more teams up (also working on a DK team, thinking DK, 3 Locks, Priest, or something).
RAF :love:
I was wondering If I have this correct or at least have a hand on what I'm trying to accomplish with this whole Multiboxing Venue.
Total Number of Accounts: 4
I currently have a veteran account (A) & I want to start 3 new accounts along with it. So from my understanding, all I need to do is:
- Send a RAF email from account (A) to account ((B) then from (B) to (C) then from (C) to Account (D)? In theory I can create all Level 1's & they will all have the RAF benefits.
- Now by doing this, wouldn't I be granting all the accounts, but Account (D) a free month, free mount as well due to recruiting someone?
- Also I was thinking, would it be easier to boost through quests or Instances? Becuase I was thinking I could have my girlfriend run us 4 through instances & since she is a Level 70, would disqualify us from getting the RAF bonus benefits?
- This is a important question, I was wondering if I use the same email address for my accounts? I know you can use the same billing address, billing name (for multiboxing purposes) & etc, but wondering if I can use the same email as well.
- When granting levels to other characters, Can (B) only grant levels to (A) since (A) recruited (B) or can (B) grants levels to (A)-(C)-(D) as well?
Sorry for such odd or I guess noob questions, I just rather do this right the first time then have to get a headache from doing something wrong. Thanks for the help in advance.
4 Boxing
1 x Paladin 3 x Druid
- US Rampage - Illidan [PVP] Horde
Bubblebarbie, Ishiftbricks, Legalbearly, Shiftmypants
1-------10---------20---------30---------40---------50---------60---------70---------80
4 groups at level 60, now to start the 5th.
just like to add something to this regarding the unique mount.
you need to either add 2x 1month subscriptions in which case you will get your mount in 3months time "30days trial + 2months" or you purchase 3months subscription and wait till the 30day trial expires to get your mount.
This is currently why most people are missing out on the mount because of blizzards strange wording.
The above has been confirmed by 2 in-game GM's![]()
Just send out all your referals from your main account then for every 2levels your refered "linked" accounts get you have 1level to give away per char.Originally Posted by 'Haruko',index.php?page=Thread&postID=121353#post1 21353
So for example heres a setup:
Account A (MAIN) refers 2players
Account B&C (REFERED) level up together to level 60
Account B&C then have 60levels to give away meaning you can create a level 60 char on your main account!!
Hope this makes sense if it dosnt I'll re-write lots of examples since ive experimented with all of this and had lots of little chats with GM's![]()
I'm just going to be lazy and ask rather than give myself a headache trying to work it out. Basically...
Main Acc 1 - lvl 1 char - I want it to 60 without playing it
Main acc 2 - have a level 30ish char, i want it to get 30 free levels
I also want 3 new characters (which I then want to transfer from these basic accounts to 3 different TBC accounts when they hit 60, I gather I can do this without buying the expansion on the new accounts as the destination accounts already have the expansion)
New Acc 3 - Activated by acc 1 (giving main account 1 30 levels)
New Acc 4 - Activated by acc 1 (giving main account 1 30 levels)
New Acc 5 - Activated by Main acc 2 (giving main account 2 30 levels)
OK... this part made sense. The bit I DON'T get is the partying. Since I have no intention of playing Main acc 1 or Main acc 2, can I get the 300% exp bonus in a group with new accounts 3, 4 and 5? Or would accounts 3 & 4 have to be grouped with main account 1 in order to activate the bonus? And Account 5 with Main account 2?
*head explodes

In order to get the 300% bonus, both the referrer and referee need to be in the group. If group 3-4-5 are all referred by one of account 1 or 2, then they won't get any bonus together.Originally Posted by 'aurelieshagwell',index.php?page=Thread&postID=121 498#post121498
Why would you buy three new accounts and not 5-box with your original 2? What's your final goal with all of this if not to have a 5-box group?
ta. thats what i thought. sigh.
there'd be no point in using accounts 1 and 2 because they'd get the free levels off 3, 4 and 5. Not really much of a point levelling with 5 when you can do it with 3 and get the 2 additionals levelled for free and not steal exp off the 3 chars levelling.
Ok, if i were to do what I said above, i.e. 1 invites 3&4 and 2 invites 5, with me playing 3,4,5 and not playing 1 & 2, I presume would still get 60 levels to allocate into account 1 and 30 into account 2? I'd simply get no 300% exp bonus?
So basically I have to have 1 invite 2, 2 invite 3, 3 invite 4 and 4 invite 5? If I then at some point drop account 1 from the group, account 2 will still get 300%exp as it is linked to account 3? Thus allowing me to drop all but account 5 from the group at level 41 using the free levels they accumulate to get them to 60?

Correct, with your original setup you'd get the free levels but no exp bonus.Originally Posted by 'aurelieshagwell',index.php?page=Thread&postID=121 565#post121565
With the 1->2->3->4->5 setup you'd get the 300% exp bonus for playing 3/4/5 together, but A1 wouldn't get any free levels and A2 would only get 30.
With RAF most of the exp will be coming from quest turnins so 3 or 5 doesn't make a huge difference. Is your end goal to have a 5-box group? Depending on what you want class-wise, what I would do is 5-box a group of shaman up to 60 with your original setup. Use the grant levels to get a paladin on account 1 to tank for you, and the other 30 on account 2 for whatever class that is you want to get to 60.
