    If I have a trial account which is at level 20, can I still use it to sit in my group in SM and contribute to the group XP bonus?
    I haven't tried this, but I imagine the answer is no. When there's a level difference, the XP bonus is only awarded to the lowest level characters of the linked accounts, so once your linked character hits 21 he won't benefit from the bonus any longer.

    If so then I think I'm going to power level another 2 toons on trial accounts to 20 to sit and use as part of my group in SM to get the max group bonus.

    Would this still work if the trial AC's are 20, and the other accounts are 30+ ?
    Up to 24. I did it by mistake on my first set, I forgot that trial stopped at 20, Vet toon got to 21 before I noticed the RAF toon was still 20. At +4 levels only the lower toons gets the RAF bonus, so you could get to 24 this way*.

    * I have not tested or confirmed but it is what the FAQ currently states

    Default Granting levels from multiple chars

    My friend who did a RAF did the grant levels to get a char from 30->59 but after that he was unable to grant anymore levels from any character.

    For instance he has a 30 warrior leveled normally(not granted levels) tried to grant a level to a level 1 warrior on the veteran account and he couldn't grant a level.

    Maybe I didn't understand this feature correctly. I was thinking that every guy I level up can grant levels to an alt on the Veteran account as long as they are below their level.

    so If I level up 2 teams to 60 regularly I was thinking I could level 2 other teams to 30 and then grant them levels and have 4 level 60 teams. Can someone confirm or shoot down my understanding.

    Default So I recruited myself this weekend. REVIEW

    I did the recruit a friend for the purpose of power leveling alts with my holy paladin.

    Here is how it went:

    Account A - full account with Holy paladin
    Account B - linked to A with lowbie warrior

    In SFK with the lowbie at level 10 the lowbie would not get triple XP from being linked to the paladin. Both characters apparently need to be capable of receiving XP for the link to work for triple mob XP. I have not tried with quest XP. Ok so I need another lowbie.

    Account A - full account with Holy paladin
    Account B - full account linked to A with lowbie warrior
    Account C - trial account linked to B with lowbie priest

    In SFK, @ level 10 on both lowbies, the priest would get triple XP but the warrior only received normal XP. I guess the game is counting the link to the paladin first and negating the link to the priest for the warrior. Grrrr. Need to xfer the pally to a new account.

    Account A - full account with Holy paladin (not linked to B or C)
    Account B - full account pally's original account with lowbie priest
    Account C - full account linked to B with lowbie warrior

    Sweet success. Bumpin the instance per hour cap in SFK. One clear to Fenrus (all one pull) = 1 level per lowbie. SM cath clear (2 pulls) = 1 level per lowbie. The net result is that both lowbies are at level 40 with ~9 hours played.

    Default Question

    Ok, so in the few weeks that I have spent lurking this website I have learned two things....

    1.) Boxers are genius

    2.) Boxers are impatient with idiots

    so, with the hope that I dont piss anyone off, I submit a noob question

    I want to box on a single maching and I want to take advantage of the RAF benefits. Do I have to buy/install the client multiple times on my one computer? or do I simply have to register each account and open the client multiple times? I read all of the Q&A here

    http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...sid=1&pageNo=3

    and it was never answered

    Any clarification would be a big help. Thanks!

    Also, do some research on RAF linking accounts so that you know which way is best for you and you don't screw up and have to buy more accounts.

    Yes you have to "BUY" it (Create & activate both accounts), But no you don't have to install it. Just copy your existing directory to another location IMO. Start Each one.

    There are people who do it with the same client directory but, I've had problems with this. Your Mileage may vary.

    Can anyone confirm this? I didn't think there was a cap on free levels (beyond max level = donator level or 60, whichever comes first)?

    Well you only get 29 levels total if you level someone from 1-60...

    I can confirm after leveling 3 clones all linked to my main account, I granted the following levels:

    24->60 - paladin
    34->60 - priest
    53->60 - mage

    So you can definitely grant levels all the way to 60 and you can definitely grant more than 29 levels to a character, just that the character you're granting FROM can't have more than 29 levels to grant -I had to grant all those levels across all 3 of my clones.
