As a new dual boxer (4 or 5 monthly subscriptions is out of my league atm) I've been reading this thread with interest. My Duo was only started a month ago, although the pair include my original single box account. I am considering taking on two more accounts for 70 days for the triple XP and free levels on the original two accounts which I intend to keep.

The way I see it is, I link 2 new accounts one to each, use the 10 day trial, 30 days box (less than 7 pounds sterling for a classic box) and a single month sub (which the original acounts get back as a free month). 70 days to quad box for fourteen quid and loads of bonus levels for whatever characters I choose. It should give plenty of time to raise multiple 60s on the main two accounts before eventually abandoning accounts 3 and 4.

I'm not interested in the vanity mount, nice but un-necessary, my only concerns would be the risk of becoming addicted to the quad and the lack of an un-linked account to boost from (although I suspect triple XP boosting isn't going to last long before it's fixed anyway).

Have I missed something, or is the logic sound?

As an afterthought I could wait until my Paladin finishes the run from 42 to 70, he's all alone on account 2 atm. I could then link two new accounts to my primary, use the unlinked Pally to boost, and transfer him over before cancelling the sub. It would cost double, but still not much. (scratch this - I would obviously need to add an expansion to the costs too)

Answer: Should the level 70 and the level 1 character be on linked accounts, neither character will receive an experience bonus, as the mobs being killed and quests being completed may not be trivial (gray) to either character.

Should you be partied with a level 1 (on a veteran account), a level 5 (on a trial) account AND with a level 70 (linked to neither), the level 1 will receive triple experience; however, that experience will be first mitigated by the presence of a higher level character. The level 5 will not gain an experience boost.

So I guess the key would be to link accounts 2 (pre-existing) and 3 (new trial account), and have account 1 (level 70 toon) boost them both - making sure they stay the same level.

So I guess my main question to all of this is, "who is going where".
I know a lot of us are on random servers, and a few of us are on the same server. My only thought in all of this is getting a few fellow boxers on the same server and such so we could kill other factions, end game raid and so forth. Right now, its a little boring doing "it" alone...

Mainly, so I can possibly play with people who are more experienced in Boxing than I am and be able to learn from them.

OK, so my list of questions is as follows:

1) Do characters transferred to new RAFed accounts get retroactive "free levels" for levels gained?

Example: I have a level 42 on a veteran account. If I transfer it to a recruited account, will it have 21 "free levels" available?

2) If one account RAFs multiple new accounts, does the veteran account get credit for multiple mounts and multiple free months? Do the mounts expire if unused/unclaimed/ungifted on the vet account after 90 days?

Example: Vet account A refers X, Y, and Z accounts. All the prerequisites are met for the mount(s) to be awarded. Does the account get one or three mount(s) to award to individual characters?

Ok, heres my plan! Let me know if any of you experienced folk notice a flaw or reason why it can't be done (note. all accounts are owned by the same person):

Account A - Booster account with 70pally
Account B - Referee
Account C - New account Referred by Account B
Account Z - Empty account

Account C is upgraded to reg wow retail box (no TBC expansion). Account B & C creat new characters each and level to level 10 together getting 3xXP. Account A joins B & C and boosts them through instance runs, B & C still get 3x XP (which is lower since they have a 70 in the group).
B & C are now lvl60, C gives 30 gifted levels to B's alts that are below 60. C's new level 60 can now be transfered to Z and the process can be repeated if desired.

Are there any limitations that I am not aware of? for example:

• Would Account C have to pay for a month of game time (not inc free month from reg wow retail box) before characters can be transferred from it?
• Can characters from a non TBC account be transfered to a TBC account?

I would like to try this with min costs so as I see it, the only costs I'd be incurring are $10 for reg wow + transfere fee for every character transferred from Account C, right?

With the coming of WotLK do you think that there will be more leveling improvments? Once the level cap is raised to 80 they are most likely going to go through and make leveling 60-70 easier. And who knows they might even make 1-60 even easier. I was thinking about getting 5 more accounts and leveling another group but I think I will wait and see what changes WotLK brings.

The one thing that I don't understand is that you can get the 300% xp boost if you are using a higher level char that isn't linked at all. But if you link to your main 70 that will do the boosting then you don't get to see the 300% xp?

Make 4 mages group them all together. (AOE the crap out of stuff pretty sure wowwiki has a pretty good guide to aoe grinding) Bring an extra high level shaman along to chain heal the group during hard pulls. High level could even be outside of the group. Not sure how much XP is nerfed if you are getting healed by a high level outside of group.

Can characters from a non TBC account be transfered to a TBC account?

Yes they can. (It's the other way around that you can't).

I made 3 new trial accounts. Since I want to level these characters as fast as possible, I rolled on a PvE server that I already had established characters on. This way I only need skinning and enchanting, and have all the bags I need. I also do not have to skip pvp heavy zones like hillsbrad and stv :) Sadly the pve server I'm on (Perenolde) is full of noobs, and even worse I am alliance. Within minutes of rolling new characters I was getting way too much attention, even had to do /DND. Started a pally, 3xmage, and priest group (humans).

But it's really sweet for xp, the triple quest xp is awesome too. I couldn't care about the zhevra mounts. Whats also nice is I don't have to worry about rested xp!
