New Recruit a Friend Features

OH GOD!

I barely got my 5shammies to 16 today. I'm considering starting over and getting 4 more battle chests to speed up the process.

Lets see here, 4x40=$160 as stated before. $160 dollars is very fund-raisable these days, and if I get 3x the xp AND spiffy mounts?!

Looks like I have something to do today. Will be buying 3 new accounts. Now all I have to do is decide my new group makeup......which always takes FOREVER.

Sorry for all the posts this morning! I went ahead and decided to just take full advantage of the XP and make 5 new toons. Just set everything up and within minutes I was level 4. Incredible XP! Kill one level 4 mob and you get 57XP for the kill and a 38XP bonus. So just one kill you get 95XP!!! This will give a whole new meaning to grinding instances for XP. Can you imagine how many points you will get? Holy crap probably 800 points a kill in RFC. I imagine it won't take me long at all to catch up to my previous level 24 level.

One thing I can see that will be a problem, however, is the experience points in weapons, defense, etc. I guess these can be leveled in chunks later on. It will also be hard to keep up with gear since you will be leveling so fast and not having the gold to keep up. Probably not a huge problem, though. Anyways, glad I did it. I was already getting the grind blues and this will make it much better. woo hoo!

I linked up an account and rolled a rogue and priest, the two classes I don't have 70 yet. Damn, the xp just flies. In an hour I was lvl 12 on them both.

Missed this by ONE !@#$ing DAY. Bought a game card with my second account, got a free month on my first, then today (well, yesterday, I'm still up from then), I see the new Recruit-A-Friend buff. !@#$ me. I wanted a Zhevra mount, but I'm not getting another account just for it.

But no, I'm from Denmark, I can't use the Recruit A Friend

Let's not make hasty assumptions. You may recruit-a-friend on your own accounts -- I mean, you can be a friend to yourself, right?

Trying to get the most out of this here.

I have 7 accounts:

-- 1 "Main" account that I raid with (2 70s on it)
-- 1 "Alt Main" account (70 Prot Pally for boosting)
-- 1 Miscellaneous Account (alt bank and whatnot)
-- 4 Shaman accounts for my team

I know I want the mount on my "Main" account and plan to use the "Main" to MB with anyway, so there's one. I want to leave the Pally's account uninvolved so I can boost easier. The Misc. account will also stay uninvolved. I want to get a full party of 5 making 3x XP. My Shamans are all only in the low-40s; should I remake the Shamans and PL them all the way back up? What's the best way to take advantage of this: cancel 3 Shaman accounts and get three more for the bonuses?

First the beta, now this. ZOMG. Blizz, you're killing me here, you're killing me! The good thing about it is that I just started multiboxing and have new accounts I could trash. Bad thing is, I used game cards and still have over 2 months of game time left on my "new" old accounts. Well, you can never have enough accounts, amirite comrades?

Btw, beta is mad fun, but leveling thrice as fast would be just as mad fun as well. *ponder, ponder, ponder*

I also just want to double check and make sure I am doing this right. I currently have 3 accounts. I have 1 lvl 65 shaman, and 2 low level shaman (like lvl 6 or 7). I want to eventually 5 box. What should I do? Do I just buy 3 more accounts, and throw 1 away. I care nothing about the mount, but I do want the 3x EXP. What would be the best way to go about it?
