You can bind switching actionbars to keys, yes.

The default bindings to the normal actionbars are shift and the number of the bar with most addons. Shift + scroll works often aswell.

Might be stupid question here, but do you need to switch bars to use the spells? Is there a way to use the spells on the other numbered bars without having to switch?

That was going to be my next question. Thanks for answering the first.
To me it looks as if he is not pressing a shift, key bind, hotkey etc. to move between the different bars. Maybe I missed it in the videos?

I use / for page 1 * for page 2 and the "home" key for page 3 on my main I use the n52 mouse scroll for page 1/2/3 for the followers.

It might sound messy, and it probably is, but that's a major part of what seperates Ellay from the rest of us sub 2000 rating boxers, his ability to control his characters.

I just watched a handful of his games during his last live stream, and he always seemed to have total control of his alts, what they were doing and which way they were facing.

I saw him pull one move where he ran up the blade's edge ramp and lost all 3 alts, he brought them up the ramp without taking his main down. If he switched leaders.. then why didn't the main auto follow and fall back down? How did he get 2 alts to follow a 3rd guy without screwing up his main's positioning? It's probably a simple answer, but he's always got things under control (at least in the games I watched). I know my biggest hic-up right now is the control I have over my characters. It's not an equipment problem, I'm still having problems getting my guys all rounded up when the blind's, stuns, polys, fear's and all the various Crowd Control start rolling in. Teams that aren't CC heavy are still just Pew-Pew-Next? for me. The other problem i'm having is utilizing LOS for teams that can also insta gib, it's still a problem with control.

I find it an inefficient way of gameplay at times and wish I could re-learn to multibox without using 1 hand on 2 separate keyboards but it's probably just that, I have more control in those situations due to driving a manual stick shift instead of automatic. The other hand is that I can't utilize the mouse as much so selecting targets can be somewhat difficult at times if Tab is proving to cycle on the wrong characters.

That's something i never knew. heh.

I've got an x-keys pro collecting dust, I was considering taking it out and putting it to the right of my mouse, so that i have my keyboard on my left hand, mouse in the middle controled by my right hand, and x-keys pro on the right, also controlled by my right hand. Is that something similar to what you're doing?

Im a WASD + Mouse player, i suppose an FPS player at heart, my keys generally go like so:

WASD = movement, not passed to clones

Q = LB
SHIFT + Q = NS + EM + LB
E = CL
Shift + E = NS + EM + CL
1 = lesser healing wave my target
Shift + 1 = healing wave my target
2 = Lesser healing wave self
Shift + 2 = Chain heal self
3 = Frost Shock / Earth Shock / Earth Shock / Earth Shock
4 = Not used at the moment
5 = Frost Shock / Flame shock / Flame shock / Flame shock
F = Purge (cast sequence (like a round robin))
H = Ghostwolf
X = Cast Sequence Macros
G = Bloodlust (keyclone round robin)

Then i use the Keypad to dump extra totems. i.e. Num9 = Grounding totems on all chars, Num7 = Poison on all chars but on round robin, Num4 = Tremor Totem on round robin.

I have a few keys bound to heal my healer in bgs with lesser or chain heal but thats the lot :x

Everything is in reach, which is why i've not bothered getting an x=key unit...

Bleh i think i just bored myself. Be interesting to know what other people use though
