First BRD run

Hmm... this doesn't seem as impressive as I thought, after reading of people clearing heroics and such, but I wanted to share

I've never done BRD before, either on a regular team, being run through, or coming back on a high-level, so this was all new to me, and so much fun!



The Seven didn't give me any trouble, but the Lyceum was a pain and I died repeatedly (I forgot to grab a snapshot, I do that a lot), so I reset to try again the next day.

Lyceum was easy this time, with a higher rank of arcane explosion (I dinged 54 at some point) and me remembering to use Holy Nova to help the mage out :P Magmus died quick-like, and it was only after I was halfway through the last room that I remembered I wanted a shot, but by then he despawned

I did manage to get a shot of the important part, though I was a little late...



He dropped a nice trinket, but with no meleers, I was kind of sad that it had to get DE'd.



And then, because I didn't know if I'd come back here again, I thought I'd get a nice scenic shot

Grats! I will be visiting BRD soon to powerlevel my priest. That place always brings back great memories. I hope you get more great moments in your adventure.

BRD is imho the best dungeon ever made in an mmo - interior-design speaking. Lot of mobs are a pain in the ass but the zone itself.. it's epic.

One of the things i discovered more recently (having been in brd atleast 50 times, i'm sure) - is that when you turn the shadowforge key wheel to open the path further into the bar and such, the door between incendius and the path of something (with the dozen spawns of 5pack of mobs are) - closes, throwing sparks around.

When boxing, have a few chars stand up to where the path don't go further, then use one char to turn the wheel while looking out the window .. you'll see what i mean

I just dinged 60ish myself and did a tour through Scholomance and both sides of Strat (each of these was way easier than Dire Maul at level.) Make sure you visit these on the way to Outlands; lotsa fun to box. I passed up BRD myself, was just leveling to fast and alot of my quests were green.

Grats on the clear. I leveled from 51-58 in BRD and now at 61 in ramps I miss it already. It's still a downright epic (nerfed to hell and made a 5 man) instance, blizz just doesn't make them like they use to, thank you activision. I hope to make it back eventually to finish out all the vanilla instances.

Grats on the BRD clear! I remember way back when I first started WOW and my ally mage leveled from 52-60 just on BRD runs. It was always a fun zone and truely epic in layout and looks! Then after BC, my BE Rogue was PL'd thru BRD in the 50s by a 70 paladin multitanking everything. After my rogue it 70 i took up enchanting and would sneak thru BRD assassinating all the bosses to DE their loots for mats. Killed the emporer multiple times but never seen his epic hammer drop. I think i still have that melee trinket in my bank as a trophy! I plan to take my 5 man team thru there at least once and do a full clear once they get high enough just for kicks.
