You can do a few things (either work)...

1. Hit the mute button when you're chatting (default is Pause key)
2. Unbind the Enter key on your alts
3. Setup your do-not-pass as a white list, only allowing the keys you specify to broadcast and leave out Enter (best option imo)

Those are the only ways I know of.
