    Default Question regarding two monitors

OK here is what i would like to do, I have 1 pc with two 22" monitors. 8800GT vid card and i know if ya hook up both monitors you can go into settings and i see a check box extend desktop to this monitor? So i assume that should be checked, anyways i guess to choose horizontal span you must go into card settings? Anyways im only going to be dual boxing atm so i would like to be able to have one on one monitor and one on the other of course. So if i am setting up keyclone do i make a region on the primary display then make the other region on secondary desplay? Or if you have chosen horizontal span does it think you have one huge monitor, and you would make both regions on primary display? :P Last time i tried it i just checked the extend desktop to this monitor box and then would start a wow and drag it to other monitor and maximize it and all seemed to be fine, also last time i ran two copies from two folders. Since then i redid pc and will be running 1 copy from one hd and 1 copy for another hd.

    Thx

Default As far as I know...

You must make sure you have them set up as one display or DirectX will not work properly... why? not sure... But you are correct in saying that you will have ONE screen in Maximizer and need to put two fields (one for each). I'm not a pro with this stuff, but I am pretty confident with that answer. Good Luck!

Ok quick follow up question, I set my screen to horizontal span and desktop says it is 3360x1050. I go into keyclone and set up maximizer on the primary display and make two regions each at 1680x1050. I log into wow and it opens both instances of wow and fills both screen with the game, but when i look at the vid settings it says 800x600 on each one. I think i read when you do that the settings in the video on wow are messed up and they are, to me it does not look like I am running in 800x600 though does that sound right? both run good according to my max fps settings and such just wonderin if i am not really running at 1680x1050 on each one. PiP works good with hotkey also, and they are both running in windowed mode and i cant seem to get them to run full screen.

    Hi Reever,

in order to use the maximizer, you have 2 options. you can run your wows normally and when they are in the keyclone list, right click / maximize.. them and select the region y ou want them to go into.

    or...

you can create a command for each wow and specify, in the command, which region to run the command (this is recommended)

also, when you define your regions on the maximizer layout, you can specify the game resolution for each region. specify the resolution under the PiP hotkey... and the resolution can be anything... it does not have to appear on the list... just type it using the format widthxheight (ie: 800x600)

if you have any more questions, please drop me a note.

    have a great night,

    Rob
