Default Shaman and line of sight question.

Do you guys have you shaman movement setup to turn? I was considering of doing this, because my shamans are dependent on the direction my main is facing, just thinking of the future if it gets stunned I cannot use my main to steer then to face the other direction. Or for that matter people that love to run in circles.
Just wondering if this the way you guys handle this or perhaps you have a different or better way of doing it then my idea so far?

i use /follow to keep my shaman facing the same direction as my main toon - it takes some practice, but I found that I didn't have the same "rubber-band" following issues that I used to back in EQ (way back in the day).

Anyways for main movment I run a standard WASD with strafe bound to A and D, and turning is done by mouse. On my followers, i unbind WASD and use the arrow keys for forward back left right turning/movment and then shift+LeftArrow or Shift+rightArrow strafes them all.

Mouse turning with minor movements will be enough to keep most spastic circle-runners in your LOS, and then if you're main toon gets locked down you can still keyboard turn your alts as needed.

That's great, I have my alts unbound to wasd as well. Basically this is what I was thinking, wasn't sure if that's how you guys handled it. this answers my question thanks

This thread, and subsequently this mouse, solved my clone turning problem.

edit: The OP of that thread had pictures uploaded that showed his configuration for the mouse. I can't see the pics so I'll try to describe how this works.

The center mouse wheel can also be pushed from side to side. You can use the software to bind the side pushes to let's say, LEFT and RIGHT keys. So when you need to turn your clones you can just push that center scroll wheel the direction you want them to rotate without your right hand leaving your mouse. I found this to be invaluable because I use the mouse to turn my main, and now i also use it to turn my alts. The mouse also has enough buttons to bind "autorun" "follow" move clones forward, move clones backward, etc. It really gave me almost total control of my clones without needing to let go of my mouse.

However, I'm having some problems with it. My desktop PC is a bit far from where I sit, so the wireless connection seems to 'stutter' and it can be VERY frustrating. When I use the mouse on my laptop the wireless USB receiver and the mouse are no more than 1 ft apart, so I don't have this problem all the time. Also, I've read a bit that some people have had faulty devices and they had to return their units to the place of purchase for a new one.
