Default Couple of questing about multiboxing with differend classes

Great site, found it by mistake on eu wows forum. and very glad i did, wasnt aware that there was something called multiboxing, never heard of it before. Reading a bit on the site i saw all the gm quotes and links, got really excited when i found the octopus software, thats what i needed to decide to dual box.

So i always kinda dual boxest, but only too the extend that my low level warrior would be on follow, while my paladin main would clear out a instances, stopped boosting my warrior sometimes after sm because it became a real hell for me.

So i solo leveled my warrior up to level 60 bringing my main into play when i needed help with class quests. Bought a lot of outlands gear before heading there. Wow forgot how hard questing gets in outlands, really messed it up since i always played classes that can heal, found my self dead more times then i care to count. Anyway got to level 61, wasnt having too much fun really, sure i could kill, and really fast compared to my holy paladin but survivability was near zero. was about that time i found this site, downloaded octopus.

Has some trial and errors, but now i got a setup i'm ok with, guess improvements will come once the warrior gets closer to level 70, so far all i got is, follow, mount, heal warrior, heal self. buff kings. cleanse oh and heartstone, added that today after finally deciding if i wanted to be aldor or scryers. Found the twoboxtoolkit addon yesterday, and that really improved it a whole lot more, getting whisper relays, and auto follow after battles, and best yet a whisper if follow breaks so i'm not halfway across the map before i realize the pala is stuck on a rock somewhere.

Now i'm having tons of fun, my dps warrior is insane, pull everything in his path, gain loads of aggro, and do what warriors do best, now my paladin is kara geared, so i heal 80% of my warriors health Dont group them yet tho because of xp lost, so no bobble yet

Tho got a question, how can i prevent my paladin in drowning? When i cross water my warrior stays above but my paladin gets under the water every time, had him drown at one point.

This really opened up a new game for me, been thinking about dual boxing, well since i started eve online 5 years ago, and thanks to this software its now possible, and its just great

Now my plan is to level my warrior up to level 70 so my pala and warrior can do daily's on the new island, to support my paladins raiding hehe. Was thinking about getting the S2 gear for battle grounds on both of them, would be great with a personal healer for EoTS, AB and WSG, not sure how it would work in AV where alot of peole will be pissed if the pala only heals my warrior... think it will give my pala a bad rep.

But i started thinking about 3 boxing? heh sure its got a name, got a unopen wow box, haven't registered it yet, because i'm not sure my machine can handle it.
    3ghz
    2gb ram
    geforce 8800 GE
    running windows xp.

Also not sure my class selection is really doable, i want to level a shaman, priest and druid at the same time. thinking shaman and priest as dps and druid as healer, since the shaman and priest are both casters, and the druid got instance heals, so it can heal while running around. I know its a weird setup, but i always wanted one of each healer class, but i sure don't want to level 3 more chars up to 70 solo. Does anyone have any experience with this combo? what specs should they have, and what class should be the main?

    Hello
An easy way to see if your computer can handle X amount of boxing is to set up trial accounts of that many, bring them to a main city and see what your latency/fps/etc. is, if it's all good you should be fine

Any class selection is "doable" just some are a lot easier to handle & use then others. See the Class Selection FaQ: http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/inde..._Selection_FAQ

Also it sounds like you have mostly just boosting rather then actually boxing for playing :P if you really wanted to get into multiboxing you would be playing both/3 chars at once not gathering with 1, alt tabbing killing with other & such
You should try using a program like autohotkey /octopus / keyclone (paid)) to do this which lets you control all your characters at once instead of one at a time, read more up on it in the FAQs!
