Recruit a Friend

I sent a recruitment to a friend (in fact 3 times to the same guy as the first one timed out, and apparently somehow sent 2 mails - not knowing this I did another).

He gets a mail with a key and a link - But when he creates an account from that link, there is NO WHERE to enter the key - How do you link up the trial account with the key? This used to work as I've done it before...but now no where can I find the place to enter the "buddy key"...

Any ideas where I find the account creation that allows me to enter the buddy key? (EU)

When you go to https://signup.wow-europe.com/, click account creation at the top right navigation bar, from there it should give you Create Account and Manage Existing, click Create Account and it should ask for an authentication key for your 10 day trial/full subscription/guest pass key.

edit:gave American server info at first should be updated properly now, also i gave the direct link to account creation instead of the WoW website so just click create the key should be in stage 2.

found it, and basically the above method - should - work, but doesnt - instead, the only way to get to enter the key is to: on the page that lets you chose between normal and streamed download, in the text - there is a link that says somehting like 'create account from key' and that one will let you enter the key.

The big image that says it will, wont let you create the account with the key (ended up with 2 wrongly created trial accounts before I figured that one out).

that's odd, i wonder if that method is having issues, however great to know you got it working.

yeah I dumped another load of cash bliz' way today, decided that playing with one of the accounts in my wifes name wasn't cutting it, so went ahead and changed the 5th account to a new one in my name.

I bought 2 battle chests last night. My other two accounts are mine, but the account info wasn't exact. So, because my kids play on them and have multiple 70's, I didn't want to risk losing all my accounts. That would have sucked for them. So i just recruited myself a few minutes ago. At least I'll get 40 days free on two accounts, and 30 days on two others. I'm up to 8 accounts now :/
