One of the other pets, a worm. This 70 hunter with a 65 worm kills one of the Forge Camp overseers in Nagrand. That, my friends, is amazing.

Devilsaur and corehound ftw visually, but another exotic pet is the chimaera. Might not look quite as good, but the special ability is a 5 second ranged slow on a 10 second cooldown. Hunter was my first main in WoW and I would have killed for something like that, would virtually make hunters invincible IMO...

Theres only 6 exotic pets, 2 for each type:

• Devilsaur - Dps (Ferocity) - (Monsterous bite which ups dps and increases size)
• Core Hound - DPS (Ferocity) - (Fire Breath, front cone fire based aoe)
• Worm - Tank (Tenacity) (they have a move called acid spit that can stack 5 times and reduce targets armor in the same way as a warriors sunder, have been said to be able to maintank non-heroic instances)
• Rhino - Tank (Tenacity) (they have a knockback move which is useless in PVE if you ask me but could be fun in PVP. You can however spec into a talent called Rhino blood (all pets can get this) which can up healing received by 40%, combine that with spirit bond and that gives them +50% healing. Can also maintank reg instances)
• Silithids - All Around (Cunning) - (They have a move that will net someone in place (like a spider) which also has a poison dot (like a scorpion, I think its called Acid Net)
• Chimera - All Around (Cunning) - (Some sort of spit but I cant remember what exactly, said to be similar to current windserpents)

A team of 4 hunters and a healer should be able to do any reg instance aslong as one of them has an exotic tank pet specced into Tanacity.
I hope they add more exotic pets :thumbsup:

Edit: Fixed the info about Rhino Blood.

The talent to up healing received by 40% is called Blood of the Rhino and is obtained in the Tenacity talent tree, so any tanking type pet can have it.

Ahh! didnt know that. Looks like the Worm is the ultimate tanking pet then...shame...should've been the rhino X( Edited above post to reflect the rhino blood thingy.
