Hi,
i play the priest as main because it´s in my opinion easier with 2-4 of the same alts.
if you just dualbox .. take the wl as main.
what macros do you need depends on which is your main. in your case ... just look at the sticky´s they are really good
cu
I will play only 2 chars: wl + sp, so I should take the wl as main right?
And I've read the stickies (ok maybe not all of them) but I can't seem to find specific wl + sp macro's :(
mainly i think there are just a few macros specialy 4 this team
cast dots
cast spell
cast renew other heal
...
just the standart ....
until now i have just normal castsequence macros for dmg and heal ... and some targeting for focus and fear ...
/petattack [pet:imp,target=targettarget,exists,harm] []
or
/petattack [pet:imp,target=focustarget,exists,harm] []
if you decide to have the priest first......
I started my warlock / priest duo yesterday (warlock main). So far so good! Still some annoyances tho.
* A lot of the time my priest isn't facing the main's target. How can i solve this? Would it help to script /follow before every spell?
* Turning in quests: does this have to be done for each toon seperatly? I only have 2 toons so it's not that big of a deal, but if a macro or adodn should exist, i'd be greatfull!
Switched my priest to main yesterday, te heal easy with clique.
Now i've hit 10 and the talent tree's are there.
Priest goes shadow, no doubt.
But how should i spec my lock slave? affli for dot? demo for tank felguard? or destruction for easy spamming?
Unfortunatley Destro sucks for leveling, waaaay too much down time, your mana will burn killing one mob and youll have to keep drinking afer every pull.Quote:

Demo, Imp HS is awesome, and demonic Sacrifce is Far away yet.
Affilction all the way m8, until you lv 62, then dish out the fegaurd....youll be impossible to kill.
Im currently leveling 2 locks and am thinking of adding a third Holy/disc priest < with that combo im pretty sure we can solo any non heroic instance (except MGT)
My advice to anyone multibxing, get to lv 20 then begin dual boxing.
Update:
lvl 19 now. Specced my lock demo, cause i had no idea where to go in the affliction tree. And since my setup depends on my voidwalker as tank, i went the demo tree.
Basicly my attacks go like this:
button 1: voidwalker attacks, priest cast pw:shield on vw
button 2: priest casts sw:pain, lock casts curse of agony (instants)
button 3: priest and lock start wanding
Priest also heals vw if neccesary. Works like a charm, i really rip thru orange mobs like this. No downtime at all! Priest's spirit tap helps alot also.
Lvl 19 now and 20hours /played. Dunno if that's alot or not but it feels liek i'm levelling fast.
I would go affliction on your lock.
You can still use your voidwalker to tank. put 5 points in improved corruption to get a second instant dot.
Send in voidy - give it a second to establish aggro, then double dot the target (throw on an immolate if you fancy it too), Either wand or when you have lifetap (make sure you improve it with talents) then life tap a couple of times, and drain life the mana back. When high enough, get nightfall for instant shadowbolt extra damage.
I think at higher levels a shadow priest and lock complement each other brilliantly.
Oh yes - dont be afraid to take aggro on a couple of mobs, with the voidy. Send in the voidy on target1. let it get aggro then dot that target, then switch the voidy to the next mob and dot that and finish it off. A priest healing the voidy just makes the voidy amazing.
Yeah i do miss my instant corruption. I might respec tonight. Good thing i have a main to provide cash for respecs :p
I just made this build, is this any good for my setup?

Once your level 50 respec n get your felgarud. (as posted before id wait until lv 62 for felgaurd though)
Hi, saw your post and I have been running 2 locks and Spriest(just hit 40) here are some tips I find useful. First I use one of the locks as a main with a Voidwalker out at all times. I have a macro to heal/bubble or renew any character.
Healing Macro
/target yournamehere
/cast [modifier:ctrl] Power Word: Shield(); [modifier:alt] Renew(); [modifier:shift] Heal()
Explaination: Put your warlocks name in the "yournamehere" spot. Keybind the button on your priest. Hold down Ctrl to bubble the lock in an emgerency, Heal him with shift or renew. Next put the Locks pets name after the /target and bind it to another button. Repeat for the priest. Note that you only keybind it for the priest so that the lock can continue to attack while the priest heals.
PS this macro is great for your locks curses as well since curses are also very situation specific! Try it to clear up more space on your action bars if they get cluttered at higher levels.
/cast [modifier:ctrl] Curse of tongues(); [modifier:alt] Curse of Weakness(); [modifier:shift] Curse of agony()
Most excellent reply post. Very cool macros! Thanks for some ideas!Quote:

Here's a dump of some posts I made on my guild forums.
First post was about PVE macros.
My macros.
All very much in a state of flux. They mainly serve to combine multiple functions onto single buttons and make sure my trinkets are popped. I'd not delved into focussing at the time I wrote these. More on that in the future.
Code:#showtooltip
/cast [button:2][mod:ctrl][mod:alt]Banish(Rank 1);[mod:shift]Enslave Demon;Banish
Code:#showtooltip
/cast [mod:shift]Fel Armor
/cast [mod:ctrl]Unending Breath
/cast [mod:alt]Detect Invisibility
/stopmacro [mod]
/castsequence Fel Armor,Unending Breath,Detect Invisibility
Code:#showtooltip Shadowburn
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/run UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/use [harm]13
/use [harm]14
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear();UIErrorsFrame:Show()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/cast Shadowburn
There's not enough room to suppress the error messages in this one:Code:#showtooltip [mod]Seed of Corruption;Corruption
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/run UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/use [harm]13
/use [harm]14
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear();UIErrorsFrame:Show()

This one can be shrunk by replacing "equipped" with "worn" but I'm not short on space and find equipped better conveys the meaning.Code:#showtooltip Shadow Bolt
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/run UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/use [harm]13

Code:/cast Major Soulstone
/cast Create Soulstone
Second post was when I did a little 2v2 arena (unsuccesfully I might add):Code:#showtooltip
/cast [pet:imp][btn:2][mod]Dark Pact;Life Tap
I've just respecced to SL/SL for 2v2 arena and I wanted to rewrite my macros to reflect that. These haven't been field tested and I welcome any comments you have.

Included in just about every other spell so no seperate macro.
Spell Lock
Pet AttackCode:/cast [nomod,harm]Spell Lock
/cast [target=focus,mod,harm]Spell Lock
Any other totems I should include here?
HealthstoneCode:/petattack

Just use the basic create/use buttons.
Spellstone
BandageCode:#showtooltip
/cast [nomod,worn:wand]Shoot;[nomod,worn:relic]Master Spellstone;[mod:alt,equipped:wand]Create Spellstone
/equip [mod,equipped:wand]Master Spellstone;[mod,noequipped:wand]Voidfire Wand
Can you use bandages in arena? I know you can't use pots. Are bandages considered consumables in that respect?
Shadow Ward
Summon PetCode:#showtooltip Shadow Ward
/cast [target=player]Devour Magic
/cast [target=party1]Devour Magic
/cast Devour Magic
/cast [nomod,target=player]Shadow Ward
/cast [mod,target=party1]Shadow Ward
Third post was when I discovered a nice little addon called ErrorMonster:Code:#showtooltip [mod]Summon Voidwalker;Summon Felhunter
/cast [combat]Fel Domination
/cast [nomod]Summon Felhunter
/cast [mod]Summon Voidwalker
Most of my macros have the following structure:
The /console lines turn off the irritating noise spam when an ability or a trinket isn't ready. The /run lines hide the corresponding red error text.Code:#showtooltip Shadow Bolt
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/run UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/use [harm]13
/use [harm]14
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear();UIErrorsFrame:Show()
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/cast Shadow Bolt
These lines take up a lot of space when you only have 255 characters to play with.
ErrorMonster does the job of the /run lines which will save 74 characters per macro.
