Today I purchased another WoW and BC expansion, I now have 6 accounts - WOO HOO! It's for my main 70 so I can swap it
out with members of my 5 box team and to help them with anything really tough whilst questing. I can see now that I'll up with 10 and 1
manning Kara - I wish lol
I must admit, I'm likewise strongly considering a 6th account.
Alternately, I could move one of my 70's to my second account, so every one of my 5 Shammies would have a 70 to include in the group from time to time.
I have 6, and have them laid out in this fashion:
Healer Acct
DPS Acct
DPS Acct
DPS Acct
DPS Acct
Tank Acct
This allows me to pvp effectively (healer+4 dps), instance effectively (healer + 3dps + tank), and do other strange things (4 dps + tank -- which is how I leveled)
Heh thats funny - I just went out and purchased a 6th account on the weekend as well.
5 accounts is the new gimp! :P
This process will get out of hand I tells ya! 8o Soon, we'll be talking about the pros and cons of a 26th account to switch around raid-groups.

5 - Holy Priest
6 - Affliction Lock
It'll be great playing with the lock again, I'm just setting up the macros now instead of playing >.<
Technically, I own 7. First time I had to reinstall I had lost the original box and so had to buy another for the code. In hindsight I probably could have gotten some help from Blizz but it was easier to just go get another. Anyways, that would put me at 2 if Blizz would help me out.
Then I began two boxing, so two active, one in lala land. Then 5 boxing, so 5/1. Then my son started bugging me to play and since I couldn't give up one of my accounts, I bought him his own, putting me at 6/1.
Guess I should get with Blizz and try to figure that one out, not that I really want to start paying for number 7, though it would help since I don't use my son's.
I've got so much work to do on my first team though, currently at 62, I don't see myself switching in other toons anytime soon.
And the fish is hooked. I had 2,3,4,5, accounts. Son has 2. wife has one. All accounts are in my name and I pay the bills on all 8. Hmmmm 2 more gets me to 10. I need more family members to justify this. Hmmmm no tooo many other issues :)
7 accounts here. 1-5 = 5 box teams. 6th-70 mage ( ports/water/int). 7th-70 priest ( spirit/fort/shadow resist/moral support )
I added my 6th account moved my 70 pally to it. This worked out well as I rotated my team in and ran instances up to BRD. Now I'm thinking about a 7th account so I can use my 65 mage to help with Scholo and instances after. Right now my mage is on the same account as the pally tank I'm leveling with the shammies. I'm using my 70 pally and 65 mage to take them though scholo now, but my other pally is being left behind. My wife doesn't know I pay for 6 now, man I'll be in so much trouble if whe finds out...
OMG and I thought was being bad for getting a 6th to move my lock to temporarily while leveling my 5x shammies through instances. I think I'll eventually move my priest to that 6th account and my lock to her account and considering a 7th for my pally tank then I can have any combo of tank, heals, dps.
It really is still cheap entertainment in the larger scheme of things lol. Just going to the movies for our family is a fortune, not to mention the cost of gas nowadays to get there.
I'd use a sixth account to trade between factions via the neutral AH on my server...
... and to communicate.
I was under the impression That Blizzard did not want you to make allaince /horde chars on same server if it was PVP. If you use a new accont to get around is that not a way to break TOS?
Was thinking about this a while back but my finances did not quite approve of it. Would have made me infinite amounts of in-game gold, and let me eventually gank stupid horde pubbies who had given me grief.Quote:

I am picking up a 6th account in the near future to drop my tank or priest onto (right now they share an account). Currently I can do healer +4 dps, or tank +4dps but not tank + healer + 3dps with my current setup... oops!Quote:

I believe it applies to add-ons and such that came out which would allow you to communicate in real-time between alliance and horde. It's such a dumb restriction as we all chat together on the forums and there's Vent/TS, IM, phone, etc.. You might want to ask a GM though to make sure using a separate account on a pvp server isn't breaking the TOS, I don't think it is but you should ask them to be sure.Quote:
