Still this is a bummer of an occurrence to someone who isn't actually account sharing, but has inherited someone elses accounts. Yes I draw the line a little differently and have no say at all in it and my opinion differs from the line blizzard has drawn. But hey its my opinion =P
Yea, the key point is that blizzard doesn't recognize any sort of "inherited" accounts unless you can actually show proof of death and that the deceased willed their account access to you (yes, I heard a story where this happened).
So, unless the person who's name is on the account died and willed their account to you and you're willing to go through the legal mumbo jumbo of faxing all the proof to Blizzard.... there is no transfer of accounts.
(EDIT: One other caveat is ONE minor child may share their guardian's account until they turn 18. Once turned 18, the formerly-minor child's characters may be transfered to a legal account of their own)
