I am retired and used to staying at home. But now that I can't go out its driving me crazy.
Meh, gyms are still open here so the only real difference for me is that my commute went from 1 hour to 5 seconds, I'm working with a better monitor setup and a better chair and I'm saving €250 per month on gas. The wife is a people person so she's far more affected.
gyms still open?! that's one of the first things they closed round here. I've been doing body exercises in the morning. It's surprisingly effective for only taking 20 min~ or less to complete.
Small town (50k-ish people) in an already sparsely populated country with rather low infections rates. They limited the hours and you only get in through access keycards so there are far less people. Also sanitizer spots all around... I usually work out in the evenings so it's basically me and 3-4 other people in a 3000ft² gym. Easy enough to keep a safe distance. Quite happy I can still go since I've been on a PR streak for a few weeks now.Quote:

I haven't left my place in ~6-8 months. At least not the property. No joke I'm not remotely a people person but I can act the part when needed. For exercise I have a treadmill in another room and a chin up bar. Really don't need anything else.
The bummer for me is no sporting events now nor in the foreseeable future. I do miss boxing. I'm gonna have to start dining on old cards soon. For now, horizon modded Fallout 4 and the web are keeping me occupied.
