don't you end up with facing issues if the targets enter the center of your circle? how do you remedy that? do you have an about face sequence so they face the center of the circle? or just recall them and redeploy to a position that would face the target?
More the latter - I can /follow such that they face the person who is set to focus.
Or just cast DOTs or Arcane Missiles or simply AoE.
It is usually faster to just follow and then target though.
The spread out macro is to get out of AoE range really when I am getting beat on.

How do you get the chars moving in a direction that is not an 90°, i do get the toons moving left, right, forward and back, but the ones moving in an none 90° angle makes me :shock: ...

Any chance for some details on how your accomplishing this movement? I am particularly interested in the movement.
If you hold down move forward and straft left, you go diagonal. The rest you should be able to figure out.
Just for the record, that takes me 1 key press. A second key press moves them back in (sort of, walking backwards is at a different speed than forward so it is not 1:1).
Also for the record, this is all accomplished in hardware only.

Also, many of those characters looked exactly the same at a highish level so I am going to guess you were doing that on a private server? Or do you have that many high levels of the same class with the exact same gear?"

Yeah, I got that same thing in game with my crew. A lot of people thought I was hacking the game for gear, since afterall, how could 4 70 mages have the exact same gear?! The didn't put two and two together with... "Hmm...he is playing them at the same time...and their gear is mainly outlands quest rewards...hmmm...". :lol:. Maybe it is more obvious since I already know how I got all the gear. But the responses from oblivious people are quite entertaining indeed. :wink:Quote:

How did you make a spread out macro? I don't recall being able to move characters using macro commands.... I understand using /follow to get them to face you and then "w"to move them back in, but to make them face all their respective angles to then use "w" to move out is beyond me.Quote:

While posting descriptions to your videos you should say that there is no botting or cheating, nothing is automatic and everything is controlled by human. Alot of people think that all of that is made by some software without human being controlling all the movements.
As usual, the comments are a great laugh to start the morning with.

So far from what I've tried, and what I've read, everyone is doing creatives things with just keybinds, there are no move macros apart from /followQuote:

Now pressing one splits them out in a "+" formation. Pressing 1+3 will make them split into an "X"
If you have 10 characters like Xzin, you just use variations on those types of things to achieve what you're looking for, people crying "Bot" etc are just too short-sighted and too quick to cry out before thinking about what is perfectly possible. There are shorter 4 letter names for these people ofc.

Just to be clear, the comments about people on my previous post are aimed at those replying to the WoWinsider thread that Xzin has linked and has quoted. People on these boards are better informed than to assume botting etc...

I personally wouldn't have posted this anywhere other than this forum...imo that's just attracting attention for the sake of it. If you deliberately try to stir it up you never know what will happen.

Well this is one area where I seem to be beat.
I can only move one guy at a time, although I can get to that particular one is under 3 seconds from out of 24, still the other 23 won't move while I am controling that one.
I can use autofollow though and because I have 6 computers its perfect if all the different characters are on different computers.
Of course I am EQ1, I understand the in game socials in wow are a lot more robust. Our 5 line limitation is really da pits.
Most of the stuff is bound to different keys, same can be applied to EQ, it's been awhile since I boxed eq, I mostly just used follow in EQ.Quote:
