This is the stable copy of jamba for wow 6.0.3 this version was the one that was before crz got added i understand there is less bugs in this copy but there is still some. ill try to keep this as stable as i can.

Thanks for the support but as of now am happy not taking anything for now anyway just enjoy the addon.

Been working on jamba a bit more today. and fixed

-Quest log bar
*Fixed >>>> * The functions on the quest log bar (abandon all, share all, etc) may no longer work properly.
Removed Toggle Buttons as they don't seem to do anything anymore. (maybe unknown api??) Might get added back later but the other commands are more useful and i just wonted to fix this part of the addon as this is one the big probs we have right now with it.

*The only way to get bar show is with the M key and pulling up ToggleWorldMap Blizzzard changed the way the MarcioBar now pulls up ToggleQuestLog can not seem to get jamba to pull it from that command?? (might need to debug that a Little more.

*Nolonger shows if the questframe is not showing ((Icon in the bottom right of the map ;) )) (--TODO: Needs to add button)

*Should now Default The Quest log bar under the wow map From center of the screen. (can still be moved by draging bar with ALT Key (see SS for placement)

I know lua a little but i don't know about wowapi and not even close to the aceapi but everyone has to start somewhere. I have taken over the curse site as well, am not the original developer but the 1st i update i did the other night was to fix the chars showing BlankBars or haveing - realmname in team list (as isboxer was trying to add -realm) any other bug is still about from when blizzard changed to WOD.

There was a topic about adding CrossRealm support and everyone in the community wonted to see it gone so Jafula axed it and rolled back (but left a few problems from players that did update to that copy!).

Now on to your topic I did not find it very helpful "playing me up" is not a great deal of help. And am reading it as "so ebony you taken over and now its playing me up because you don't know what your doing.

So far i spent days on the addon finding code and trying to fix what i can when i DO infact play with the dev copy am working on with my Live chars! and i try to test everything before sending it to curse.

I figured my problems were old news because The latest build I found through this thread fixed a lot of them. Before master wouldnt switch, team wouldn't accept invited, quests wouldnt start, or complete. Generally communication between chars.

So no I was not blaming you for anything, I am grateful that you will do what you can

Ok sorry i took that the wrong way no hard feelings

The prob with the build your talking about -3-3-0 is was using the cross realm stuff. There was a lot of changes to the code in 3-3 and Jafula sent it out as a release it "needed" a Lot more testing! before it went pubic and i will work on that code a lot more but am keeping it away from the 3-x releases. To be fair i think this is why he could not keep the time the addon need.

Any of the cross realm stuff will be tagged as Alpha 4.0 so you know what your using! when the time comes it be in a new topic as well.

As for now am trying to get 3-4 (that what you asked for all works) am tidying up the code and trying to get rid of anymore LuaErrors you might be getting. This is using the older code and does not support -realm in names (blizzard is using this more and more nowadays)

-Now shows quest name again (not sure when it broke its been a long time i forgot about it thanks to hyperunknown for the report.)
-Removed "Spam" x2 of every message.
-Fixed total gold no longer x2

Thanks for the kind words. A thank you goes a long way and it makes me smile when i see one :).

so far av not leveled my group or even played wow much. i spent all my free time (that i have a lot of) just fixing stuff and working out how wowapi/lua works and Playing with the code.

I will be looking at taking donations as am putting a lot of time in it. Just am not ready or feels it right so close after me taking over.

Am getting a few $ from Curse.

Great work on Jamba Ebony, been working quite well for me for the most part, some bugs yet to iron out however, most don't affect me too much, like spamming low health when my team is full, and delayed leader swapping in FTL mode. causes main window to follow previous leader till jamba pushes new leader to the front window. I think its a delayed communication push somewhere, though it might be my computer cause loading wow sometimes is laggy. I might move wow to my now empty SSD drive that I had replaced, see if this fixes the issue. though its on an external bay, i would want to install it to my internals.

If nobody else has this issue than its probably just me :p

All what you talked about has been fixed in the beta (that should be pushed to live now) it was filling up the comms with x2 everything.

Not sure if im the only one with this problem, but the Jamba teamlist doesnt list the master on top anymore on my slave windows, only when i set the master manually again and push it to them. In my team of 5 its always the characters name on top, then the master, then 3rd 4th and 5th char.

Ok Awesome! I was away in San Francisco sunday and monday, so I wasn't in wow till this evening. I downloaded the new version and everything is working perfectly! Well wow itself was being grumpy like not opening garrison missions and what not, took an hour or so break and even wow stopped being buggy. Ebony you are awesome! I still didn't read though the whole thread as to why Jafula stepped back, I have a few guesses but not entertaining them here now till I read the thread. Your work is greatly appreciated. And I do thank Jafula for all his hard work he put into the addon since the beginning.

i can not seem to get this to happen. Only when isboxer re-adds the group on login. It add it self and set it as manster again. not really a lot i can do to fix this, did it used to do it before?

I updated Jamba to 6.0.3.9 today and the changes to Jamba-Quest have broken something.

My toons are now stuck in a round robin of forwarding the Pandaren Spirit Tamers battle pet quest to each other and I cannot get them to stop or do anything else.

My guess is either

• the logic to prevent re-sharing received quests got damaged
• the toon sharing the quest is no longer receiving confirmation and so keeps re-sharing

I am reverting to the previous release (6.0.3.5). I'll try to look for a root cause of the breakage later today.

UPDATE

Turns out this is an old bug and not something that changed in most recent update. Going back to 6.0.3.5 just removes the quest name from the messages. Am abandoning the quest on each toon manually and will play with this later.

i have seen this on one my groups (only once). and had a few reports. But could not get it to do it again it was a random quest, This was more of a bug from the crz stuff back to normal jamba. Have you try resetting the profile? more then likely its something that's stuck in the database that's wrong.


Any more info could help if you can get it to repeat. av for one not seen for a long time.

Having problems with the leader being changed instantly when i change windows. Could this be a problem with something else? it seems fine at times then late on others.

isboxer is what changes master the i don't use this. Ill see if i can get it to do it.

but at a guess If its behind that it be to much data being sent to the toons/master. There's not really a lot i can do about it as its blizzard that stops us sending x /w a sec. changing master is going to mass up who is who if there is a lot qued data.

Right now jamba is only sending data though /w.

not sure ill be about when the patch goes live next week and if ill want to wait till the EU gets it before i push it to release, Ill be about thursday though to release it saying that if there is no more bugs i find right now i only tested what i tested on the ptr.

its been a "command" (/jamba-team add party) for a long time i did not know it was there that's for sure. so i added a button on the ui

hopeful there is no more bugs, i spent a lot of time to try and get them all & adding a few changes along the way.

Thanks a lot for hard work. Just a quick wish, after making new team and choosing "Copy Profile" all team members in previous team get copied as well. Could it be possible to make an option to copy profile without that profiles team names? Thanks

Hey, just got to test the new version of Jamba. And now i got 2x of everything O.o my follow bars shows my team correctly + all toons with the server name behind its name. i have tryed to remove the extra 24 toons in my team list but nothing happens. what to do?

the version does not support CR so -servername will not work till 4.x you have to reset your profile to reset get rid of servernames.

Ya be kinda cool, not sure how i can do this will see for 4.0. it would be nice to have a list with all your toons on without the "player not online" spam.


In other news fixed the LFR "not in raid" just waiting for it to be "tested" before it get sent out as a release

Hey, Just a little update what i been working on, Jamba 4.0, Beta should be out in the next few weeks.

• Updated Loads of Libs to the newest i can.
• Fixed bug #164 LuaError on reading items that Have a metadata??, (Battle-Pets)
• Added support to support IsBoxer adding Realms, by removing any spaces it might feel like adding.

Did a Write on Jamba-Communications

• No-longer Jamba will have the Channel it used to have (that not many use from as far as i can tell) to keep Checking to see if team Members was online.
• A new way is being worked on to check is the team member is online.
• Removed "there is no player %Name% Playing" Spam From the chat ((*Cheer*)),
• Added new Communication method "Guild". (Most Boxers have there chars in the same Guild Or Even 4 will be in own guild This will make stuff cleaner as the guild channel is always there removed This it was to unstable when xyz was not in a guild
• Now sends Communication to GUILD - PARTY If all fails then goes back to WHISPER

Jamba-Team

• Added Support For CR and CRZ** (Read notes about CRZ)
• Team Members are now added in Name-Realm Again (testing it a lot more then last time we tried this.)
• Added Support realms with spaces in there names.
• Updated tons of the Code to support -Realm, Changed many parts and using the newer API that is a lot easier.
• Removed jamba-Display (see under before you cry)

Added new Module Jamba-PartyFrame

Jamba-Display

• Supports Buffs and Debuffs - needs a lot more work to support it right.
• Supports Cross-realm and Hp/Mana/XP/Rep/Follow
• Button to hide Blizzard Party Bars - If you wonted to use them Full Time party bars did not like this as there still not party bars again.
• Can Custom them a lot more to make them fit your UI - needs a lot more work to support it right.
• Added party's Cast bar. - did not like the way they fitted in.
• Added Support for Class 2nd Power Bar EG:Pally-power/rouges combo points etc. Or though This will send the data though the comms so will have to see how this goes in beta. far to much over the comms. and makes jamba just lag behind.
• Fixed Bars to be clickable with Clique (you need to pick this option under Jamba-Display and reload the UI.
• If not using Clique or its turn off then bars should target players on other realms.

Removed Jamba-proc

not had time to work on this much So its got to be pushed back.

Added new Module Jamba-TeamSpells
More or less a copy of trufigcd, But can show All Spells or just spells you Whitelisted Or Everything
[LIST][*]Can show as Icons or As a bars[*]Can show spell Procs show so it Replaces the jamba-proc addon (and we don't really want to addons reading the combatlog really [/LIST]



Jamba-Quest

[LIST][*]Removed the Jamba-Team quest bar (whatever you want to call it).[*]When you use the blizzard Quest UI to drop quests it will now auto Drop them on the Clones.[*]When you use the blizzzard Quest UI to Track Quests It will not auto Track on clones[*]Holding a Alt Key will stop them going to clones i think its a cleaner System.[/LIST]

Notes:

CR = connected realms EG You can trade/join guild ETC. All of jamba will work like normal Like your playing the same realm!

CR = Join a Realm Over CRZ tech Note some of jamba will not work this is not down to me this is how blizzard Lets you talk over realms with addons YOU NEED TO BE IN PARTY WITH THE MEMBER FOR ANYTHING TO WORK! And some stuff might not work as you wish.
