There are a couple of the dungeons that have a boss that is tough for boxers to get past but the vast majority of them are just fine. No worse than any other expansion.
As for the dungeon levels, you can queue starting at level 90. However, you'd miss some really good questing in WoD.
Overall, it is a great expansion and I'm having a great time ten boxing it.
So far I've been able to do all the dungeons on Normal without out-gearing them. There is usually one boss that gives me a problem, and the rest generally get streamrolled in one or two tries. I haven't tried heroics yet.
With the boost to 90, I'm heavily considering attempting 10-boxing this expansion. Do you level 10 at once now or do 5 and 5? (just curious).Quote:

Heroic - Iron Docks Down
Im starting to think 5 Prot palies could do Heroics well. I tried heroic Depot last night. The first boss ( duo ) I was fighting the two back and forth for some time..not sure when it happened but the rest of my team was dead and i did not notice it. Long story short. I stayed alive on my tank for longer than should be normal and was doing 13k dps ( item lvl 620ish ). The self heals kept me alive a long time. So im just wondering how well 5 prot palies could do sharing the damage and using WoG to heal?
what ilvl are you? havent tried any hc's yet myself, im just 600-615.Quote:

Id agree they are just as 'friendly' as the other expansions but with more emphasis on movement which can make things tricky for melee teams.
I think they are harder then cata and panda though. I was generally able to brute force my way through those instances but the wod ones require much more attention and if you tackle them at i595/i610 (normals/hc respectively) then they are a hell of a challenge. Each +5 ilevels makes them a significant notch easier so that by i610 with a bit of practice the normals are doable without much fuss.
I found heroics very hard when i started at 610 but by 620 i was starting to drop bosses much easier. id imagine at 630 it would be quite painless.
edit: obviously your team comp. is a big factor too, id love to see 5xmages ! :) and im tempted to try 5 rogues myself..that would be impressively hard
I noticed about 1000-1500DPS per 10ilvl increase... Aka you'll see a decent amount of dps going from ilvl600 to ilvl610
I also started a DK/Priest/3xHunter group.... kinda crazy how fast things die. The 3 hunters have the epic guns and are pulling like 8k DPS at lvl 93.
I've got Heroic Iron Docks and Auchindoun down. Running a mixed team. Pally tank, Mage, lock, hunter and priest. Tank is at 639, rest are 615 to 620. Definitely big jumps in dips/survivability with small iLvl increases.
Tried Heroic UBRS. First boss was easy, but how did you get past the poison from the second boss? Room was covered with it in about a minute. No where to go and too much movement. Got him down to 30% or so.
Going to try farming 670 gear. That looked like a lot of fun.
3x Hunter / Sham / Pal is my latest group, and it is amazing.
Hunters just do way more dmg than ele, even with shit gear. Just got them into heroics and already did Heroic Iron Docks / Auchindoun w/ very little issues.
Rapid Fire + Lust is omg pewpew. Did Raid Finder today and got all the hunters around 623.
I have a real love for bm hunters, with pets with taunt on to share damage with tank & a disco priest it's a nice setup.
I find that hunters in general tend to be on the higher end of the damage spectrum. Since Misdirection is an instant cast my tank rarely loses aggro. Even if he does go down then my pet will pick up the aggro.Quote:

I don't MD to anything.. I like the threat bouncing between pets and the tank as it reduces the healing I need to do to the tank. It's nice when the pets soak up the big hit boss abilities.
I was toying with x4 Hunters and a healer again but then I can't use the 5 man finder :(
Maybe it's time to have a healer (pala) leading with x3 Hunters and an ele again.. that way I can get lust plus pet buffs. It's so much easier to heal pets than a tank.. I do find it strange that Blizz never changed it.

I'm just about to reach 100 with a full group. Which level 100 dungeons (normal) are recommended to start with? My team consist of 3 hunters, priest and a pally.
I did try Skyreach at 98 but couldn't even complete first boss(!). Have completed Achindoun, Mines and Iron Docks though.
I put all my ranged stacked on each other up top and only have my tank down by the boss. When I get the warning for the poison, wait till the last second and sidestep, makes a nice puddle in one spot, just don't hit it later on. If you run all melee DPS, keep the healer up top and just pull the boss all the way to the end opposite where he starts while the tank builds a bit of threat then when he gets there go nuts moving the tank backwards whenever the poison hits.Quote:

i out totally out gear the content? My goal is to run for gold but haven't cleared a normal random dungeon.. Maybe I need to farm garrisons only :-/
My 5 hunters are ~683ish and I still struggle with a lot of stuff. Last boss in Everbloom is just not even. Some of them are semi-AFK, like Skyreach. But then, I'm not real big on fancy movement and bunches of "oh shit" buttons, so I tend to either blow everything up completely or fail miserably. :p
My toons are mostly 715-720 geared. None of them has 4/4 HFC set piece. Warrior and one of my hunters has a class trinket (bad ones) but thats about it for gear. As Ughmahedhurtz stated everbloom's last boss is a pain if you do not outgear it considerably. (695 and up imho) Personally with the item level I have with my main team (War, MM Hunterx3, Disc Priest) can clear every single heroic with ease.
From my experience the bosses that gave me trouble are:
Iron Docks: None. 2nd boss may take a while if you do not stop attacking when the orc casts her bubble
Shadowmoon Burrial Ground: 3rd boss. If you do not DPS him down quickly it could be a pain to heal through.
Upper Blackrock Spire: 1st boss. The cage opening is annoying when you are low geared. Let the tank do the opening. 3rd boss could be a pain too since you need to position your toons well to avoid the aoes. The whelp phase could turn overwhelming to heal through when undergeared.
Grimrail Depot: Last boss. The damage zone is random so its a pain to need to constantly moving your toons.
Everbloom: Last boss. He simply has a lot of HP to burn him down.
Skyreach: None. 3rd boss could be tricky at first if you don't hide on quill phase.
Bloodmaul Slag Mines: 1st boss. The peons could be a pain when uncontrolled.
Auchindoun: 3rd boss. The add phase could be trouble when uncontrolled.
I could write down the stratergies I used when I was still gearing up. But mostly with gear and Heroism (Drums of War) they will die before the mechanic kicks in. Post Tanaan jungle gearing (god I hated this) which also means get all to 705 with valor (LFR and individual heroic for valor), I bought some PVP items (710 gear), ran individual Mythic dungeons, had some luck on follower highmaul/brf caches, Timewalker events and finally individually joining HFC Normal.
Around 700-710, you can basically breeze through heroics. I have yet to try mythic (waiting patiently my hunters to get their 4/4 HFC set piece) dungeons.

I have some experience of doing mythic dungeons with x5 hunters. 3 of them have 4-set and legendary rings at higher lvls (770ish +)
The other 2 have no set, and some mix of pvp gear and some random drops from mythics.
These are the status of the dungeons currently: (Btw if a pack can be skipped with camo/stealth I usually do that). See my vids at my YouTube Channel for the ones Ive recorded so far.
Auchindoun: Easy. (Video)
Skyreach: Easy. (Video)
Shadowmoon burial: Easy. (Video)
Iron Docks: Medium? - I have only done this once. I feel that second boss can be hard without massive dps to burst down 2/3 extremely fast. I was quite lucky in my first run I believe. (Video)
Bloodmaul slagmines: Hard. Since second boss is split into 2 phases, you cant just burst with ring on both, can get hard to survive whole fight. Roltall may also be a pain if you cannot kill the boss before getting hit by too many boulders. (NO Video yet, have completed)
Everbloom: Hell - Last boss fight probably has to be finished before Genesis completes, I don't see a multiboxer successfully stomping the flowers easily. Even if you have the DPS it requires perfect (and fast) positioning of pet tank, to avoid the big aoe ability completely. (NO Video yet, have completed, barely)
Grimrail: Have not tried, mainly because I think 2nd boss will be extremely hard.
UBRS: Have not tried. Honestly, I can imagine all of the bosses being very hard. Especially the 2nd last boss, there will be too much unavoidable incoming dmg to survive.
Also keep in mind that my team have some very geared characters. Many bosses are completed purely because of mechanics not having time to kick in. (Teron'gor and Azzakel are 2 fine examples of that). With a less geared team the difficulty ranking would probably be changed.
Going to be interesting to see how things change come August.
I can confirm now that grimrail 2nd boss is too hard for me at the moment. I just posted a video where I complete the dungeon, but only after Nitrogg bugs out totally.
Beating the fight either the "normal" way, or by doing a burst at the cannon while controlling adds is just very hard without tanks and healers.
Will give it a go again tho when all my 5 chars have legendary ring. Bigger dps is the solution to so many things, and I feel it might be too for the burst strategy of this boss :)
