So I hit 100 and planning to powerlevel 4 new accounts from level 1-90. I just got back from WOTLK so any leads to what Heirlooms should I buy and what dungeons should I powerlevel my team using my level 100?
If you are going to buy warlords it comes with a free lvl 90 boost for each account, or have you used this?
I just caved in and am on raf to 60 then will use my boost up to get the proffs boosted too.
The level 100 is going to destroy your XP in dungeons if you are really doing that.

If you just want to boost 4 here is a simple way though it might not be the most efficient
A - high level account
B - E low levels
B invites C
C invites D
D invites E
If you can figure it out there seems to be a way E can invite B
Play B-E somewhere as group to get them to the min level to enter the lowest level dungeon you can hit.
This should take less than an hour easily UNLESS you pick pandas or goblins
The add A to the group and hit the dungeon and repeat a 0-3 times.
You'll hit a sweet spot at some point where everyone will go up 3 or more levels in that one run.
After that you end up with maybe a level per run so probably time to move on.
I still have not figured out the exact formula for that sweet spot. But its some thing like when the low levels are a only a few levels below the bosses.
Then move to the next dungeon and so on.
I did this without heirlooms and it went fast and and I did it after screwing up the RAF invites. I actually invited all the characters from one account rather than making a chain. Though I wonder if that even makes a difference. Does WoW actually award multiple RAF bonus? Or is it just the one boots regardless?
I know the one character that invited the other 3 didn't get any more XP than than the rest.

The thing that really slowed me down was just moving from boss to boss and then exiting the instance.
AND getting the newbies from instance to instance.
I spent more time going from instance to instance than I actually did in an instance.
I assume there are a number of good ways around that but I only started back recently so I've forgotten a lot.
Mages porting groups?
Items that let you port to Org/Storm?
If you have 3 extra accounts, one with a high enough level warlock to do summons?
Have you high level be a hunter or something else to use a group run speed increases?
Put Run speed enchantment on white/non-magic boots so they don't bind when you equip them. So you can reuse them later.
Or maybe there are heirloom boots?
Heirloom items would help but it's fast even without them.
Form a guild so it's always a guild group doing a run, so you get that added boost too plus a shared bank
What are the current RAF parameters:
Which levels earn the bonus levels? (10-90 would be my guess)
Can you do "grant level" in cross server groups? (I'm all but certain that connected realm characters will work, which relieves the original "account A got too many levels" issue)?
84 is the max level that can receive a grant level - it should probably be 90 now but isn't yet.
So you can grant toons up to 85 max still.
I've never tested cross server grants.
And yeah, it's much better to have an invite chain instead of and invite star. All those levels to grant and no spare slots left for new characters.
I've leveled several teams via RAF recently. I did it with 5x all RAFed no booster.
I leveled the team to Level 15 and then spammed dungeons to Level 85, rinse and repeat.
The first dungeon is enough to get you from 15 to 23 :)
Each team only took 24 hours of /played
Thanks for the tips. Mind to list all the dungeons and when or what level to move there. I'm completely clueless on Cata and MOP dungeons since I stop playing on WOTLK.

23 - 37 SM
37 - 60 Strat
60 - 67 UB
67 - 69 UTK
69 - 72 AZN
No clue what's next. Feel free to give me a better route.
If you are doing the boosting method, that list seems about right
But if you are doing 5x RAF (I strongly recommend this) you just spam Random Dungeons and never have to leave your home city. I find this much faster than boosting - especially if you have heirlooms.
Hey, just wanted to give my 2 cents.
well i am a new member to the multibox family lol. doing it since a week and love it.
got 4 raf acs now and boost them with my lvl 90 or 100.
I go to ruby sanctum (25 hc preferable) and just do 10 runs/hour, which is unfortunately the limit.
in beginning you get 2-3 levels, after around lvl 30+ you get 1lvl+/run etc.
this can be done till lvl 85 where u got 40-50% of level/run and as i said you can do 10runs/h.
what i do is i have a main + 4 low lvl raf slaves outside instance. log in do 10 runs, log out. stop watch to 1h and continue playing with mains or whatever.
since and repeat. i think it works fairly good since it is not very time consuming and very efficient. low time spent and you gain a lot of levels :)
IMPORTANT. do not kill any bosses or you get lockout.
i will attach a picture of the route i am running with my main. i just pull the trash from the whole instance, but you can also just kill each pack by itself if you cant handle the whole raid trash.

Thanks dawg for the suggestion and illustration. I started my toons in the same map from 1-15 as daanji suggested in another thread. Then I try the old route SFK..SM..Strat and noticed that ruby is still faster so I went back. I haven't tried heroic and Ill try it today. Yes I did killed the bosses in my first try and got locked out. Learned my lesson there. I wonder what will be the next dungeon for 85-90. The dungeon in Uldum?
For people who are starting out or wanted fresh. Buy Draenor, create DK. level it to 60. Use the free boost to 90 and have instant 2 profession to lvl 600. Then you have an instant booster for your 4 alts with 2 max profs.
Yeah, I haven't found anything faster than ruby sanctum method boosting wise - especially once you have it setup. For example, have a lock + 2 toons always logged off at the location when you want to boost a new team.
I honestly can not wait for 6.1 and the heirlooms changes - will makes things so much easier. No more mailing heirlooms around and hunting for "who have the damn intellect pants last". It will also be nice not to have to buy 5x of everything.
Glad you liked it. I think maybe the good old monkey runs in MoP could actually come in quite handy. just get 1 person to boost you, get some cheap gear for toons and gg. thats probably what i am going to try out.Quote:

I have no clue what monkey runs is because I never played CATA and MOP. What dungeon is that?
The Stormstout Brewery, located in the Valley of the Four Winds on Pandaria. There are a large number of Hozen (monkeys) leading up to the first boss, and one method of boosting some people have used is killing all of them, then run out and reset - rinse and repeat.Quote:

Thanks for the info. I already reached lvl 80 and it seems that Ruby EXP has been cut 10 times at this level. from 2M/hr to 200K/hr :(
yeah after 80 its tough. when i hit it i will try a new spot for 80-85. very busy this period. will post in 4-5 days, got a good idea, hope it works
