WD 2.1 - Pet Doctor

The newest rollout of Witch Doctor changes in PTR are going to be amazing

• Pets squish in together extremely well. Collision box is much smaller
• Other players pets are transparent and do not run into yours. IE. all pets can fit in together and do damage instead of standing there
• Fetish Army and Fetish Sychophants are on their own tally now. Meaning if you recast FA it doesn't kill off the current set of FS. This also makes the maximum amount of pets much higher. Previous cap was 15, now you can have 8 FA and 15 FS.
• Pet AI has been fixed, they don't stand around and do nothing.
• New gems to socket into rings/amulet to make pets unkillable. That doesn't mean they will last forever, except FA will if you has the Zuni set bonus, but just makes them that much stronger.

Overall it's going to be extremely fun and I think one of the more popular Multiboxing builds moving forward as you can pump out high damage and not need to be perfect as your pets do most of the work.

Now I need to level a team up. Just finished my wizard team.

WD is undeniably strong.

it is however, just not as fun for me with other classes. I just don't like pets & minions doing damage. THe damage felt so indirect.

Hopefully wizards and DH still viable for higher difficulties.

Are these changes live? What kind of skills and buiilds do you guys go for? I played a bit today, and had no idea how to use my WD anymore LOL

Yep WD is going to be amazing. To the point were stacking them will be just as effective as playing a solo WD. Exciting :)
I want this patch to come out ASAP :)

There's a lot of RNG involved there, so I wouldn't expect getting that soon. Enforcer gem + upgrading it to 50, times 4, won't happen any time soon. Maybe adding a couple Crusaders for additional toughness for your pets will be a good idea for higher Greater Rifts. Laws of Justice Immovable Object can pretty much double the toughness of the party.

Add 1-2 Carnevil WDs with SMK for perma BBV and u have a very nice killing machine. Actually, since Fetishes were fixed, MoJ is prolly a better option for SMK.

I don't know what it is but I really like the Rheno Flayer way more than the SMK - I think because I prefer the Zuni set bonus for perma fetishes instead of constantly recasting.

BBV is only needed on elites / Bosses, so I pop it whenever it is up for them otherwise they do fine.
