I know a few months ago there was a vent server open for multiboxers. But Im not sure if it was widely used.
I currently rent a 35 slot vent server I might be willing to open to the multiboxing community if there was interest. (Least till warhammer when my guild needs it )
Would it be bad if I logged in to talk to myself while boxing an instance?

I just use my Tier-4 guild's vent if I am gonna chit-chat, but others might be interested.
I think it would be nice to have some other mutiboxers on vent for help with issues and stuff or just chat about shit that happened during their day, I know I would use it if there was one.

I'm paying for a 75 slot vent for our guild that fizzled. Some old guildies hang out there, but not much.
I'd be happy to donate the vent space, though I understand The Zerg on Magtheridon has their own ventrilo in their forums as well.

problem with the mag one is its 10 slots, if we all joined it would cap pretty quick.

Sry to bring this back from the dead. But I'm starting on a MB raid guild, not that much need now for vent but will be in a month or 2. Anyone willing to let our guild use your vent or if anyone knows where a good place to rent it from? I just feel bad using people's vent without permission.

Lots of nice offers from people, but I think it'd be a good idea if we all decided on a single one to use, to foster that lovely sense of community :)

If anyone has the source for a Linux distribution I can run vent servers from one of my french dedis for us EU guys - they have their own dedicated 100mb/s connections and with the speed of broadband nowdays US users should get good pings anyways.
