What's DPS looking like at 90?

Just hoping to get feedback on DPS and what's working at 90. My experience so far in instances, up to 89 is that my Elemental Shaman is kicking my Surv Hunter and Arcane Mages behinds so far. No science behind this, they all roughly have 416ish Ilvl, random quest gear and odd drops from instances. No reforging.

For macros I'm using the typical two-step (Mercurio thread) for Mage and Shaman with slight tweaks for totem change. For Surv Hunter I'm using the hybrid 2-step, fall through macro built for MOP, which was great post 5.04/pre 5.05, but elemental shaman is like 5k ahead of other two per boss fight.

If I could go back to Sept 25, I'd tell myself to roll Paladin Tank, 3 Ele Shamans and Disc priest (love the disc priest still). Currently running Blood DK tank (which is quite good) 1 ele shaman, 1 Surv Hunter, 1 Arc Mage and Disc Priest. I'm only 89 and relatively ungeared without properly updated macros so this should improve, but just an observation so far.

Raid DPS goes up to 60k+ with Lock leading the way. I solo played my Ret pally DPS in heroic for about 30k with i425 ish ilvl. What number are you seeing on your elemental shamans. My boxing dps is super low. 18k dps. I do this kinda dps at level 85. It almost feel like I double/tripled my HP and my dps didn't go up.

That happens because you go from gear which has amazing stats/ratings for your level to a higher level but with gear that is crap for your lvl. Compare your 90 dps to what you were doing in ilvl 346 gear at 85.

Ya i figured. without hit/expertise cap, dps suffers too much. Missing bloodlust is also a big deal. Solo queue heroic also +15% , we don't have that either.

There are charts online for that, most that parse data from world of logs so only valid for highly geared raiders.

Was hoping just to get some insight from boxed toons in 5 mans.

On the more straightforward tank/spank bosses my shammy is 26k (multiboxed) whereas my Hunter is 21K and mage... because she has long run out of mana falls down to 14, but probably peaked at around 23-24k. This is at 88/89. Pre 5.04 in just over 370 gear my arc mages could do 20kish... sorta sad.

The quests seem to pick up in Townlong Steppes so I haven't gone back and done an instance in awhile... I'm so close to 90 and some JP gear upgrades, and seeing numerous folks have success in Heroics. Plus, dailies give VP?!?!

Druid tank is doing around 20-25k DPS single target.
Shamans around 25-30k.
Resto Shaman around 3-5k.

On AoE fights, my tank and DPS can do anywhere from 40-60K DPS, depending on crits/procs.

Team is around 450 iLevel. I haven't bothered enchanting or reforging any non-heroic pieces. My team all have 2-4 pieces of heroic gear, epic boots from the world boss quest (very easy! anyone that hasn't done this yet, get on it!), both Brewfest trinkets and the rest 458/436 faction and quest gear.

I've ended some fights with a Shaman sitting at 40k+, so once I'm fully heroic geared and properly reforged, gemmed and enchanted, I can see them doing pretty well.

My old group comp of 4x disc priest and warrior tank still works at 85 lol, stuff just has sooooo many hp.

By the time you get exalted with those factions. You will either be fully geared from LFR or patch 5.1 will be out.

My team was pulling 31k when I started heroics in full pvp gear. I've gotten some galleon, sha and LFR upgrades by now so they pull 50k in five mans. In LFR 2 were pulling 50k, two lagging behind by a lot and I haven't had a chance to see what was going on there.

Heavy movement fights / gimmicky fights im around 20-30k.

This is 4 shams + Pal.

I'm doing around 30k on Heroic bosses with same team.. can you share your set up?
