Hi all,
so now the the simplest quest is giving 60k XP for turning it in, what have you guys been doing to level your guilds? I read in previous posts about possibly creating a team of level 1s and then deleting them after a few levels, rinse and repeat.
Is anyone doing this? For creating a set of lowbies is there any of the starting areas faster than others for doing this?

Khat just posted that he/she(sorry!) did the undead starting area.
I think I missed that post, was it in a thread about something else? Or is there already a thread about this?

So I am Alliance and have tried several different races and so far it seems like Dwarves might be the fastest starting area to try leveling my guild with thow away sets of characters. My guild just hit level 9 while level a team of 80s
I dont really find it necessary to do extra work to level the guild, just let it level while you play the way you normally play.
The guild perks are nice and help a smidgen (is that a real word?) but a few percentage points is nothing to go out of your way to get. It will get there on its own eventually.
Though truthfully when I first started I was impatient for my guild to level up.
I did it because MoP is on the doorstep and the chance to get
Faster Leveling
Extra mats
Faster Rep/Justice/Honor
Less Durability Damage
Better chance at Tradeskill Gains
Cheaper vendor crap {mounts, gear}
while leveling is worth a little mindless grinding. And there's a whole hell of a lot of nothing else to do right now.
So I am currently just straight questing in Hyjal and I am getting 0 Guild XP, so I hopped back onto a new dwarf to check if it got nerfed and he still got 60k for the first quest in that zone.
BTW, did you use 5 characters in your process or did you use 10? I am thinking some of my Older accounts currently have 7 days free and so I could use them to level the guild too :PQuote:

Sometimes I will load up a team and start leveling then freak when I am not getting the 300% exp.
I spent at least 15 minutes trying to figure out why, checking battle.net to make sure they are still linked, etc. Then realize I just forgot to invite them all to my group.

Uh, why are you switching toons? Select the target on your main, have your slaves assist, interact with target. Everyone talks and updates at the same time via Jamba Quest.

IWT is found in the keybind section after you hit escape. needs to be the set up the same in ISBOXER as in game or it won't work.

So I had some time to try leveling the guild with 10 accounts. Due to being too low to join a raid I have to create two groups, this then means when killing stuff I have to swap between group leaders to get the kills or pickup for a quest. Apart from this I have experimented with most starting zones due to being Alliance. I first ran the Undead zone to see how far and fast Khavotor gets through the zone, it seems I think it is 17 quests each time with a LOT of simple hand ins. On Alliance the closest I have come is the Gnomes or the Worgens. The Worgens are good BUT their is an early collection quest which requires 4 crates per character which slows things down quite a bit , BUT once through that piece I can get about 16 quests done pretty fast. On the Gnome side it is really fast up to a collection quest for machine parts which is quest 11 I think, have to experiment a little more to see this though and if it is feasible to both doing it or reset at that quest.
Overall I log in 11 toons, one of my mains to invite to guild and then 4 from my current accounts and 6 from a BNet which I currently have 7 days free on. The Worgen area seems a little harder on my PC to run 10 clients than other arease, possibly due to all the new effects they used in that area.
The human area is super fast.. no collect items off the ground type quests.
So I just tried the human area and I agree it is pretty fast, only issue is only 10 quests in the area from what I see, vs. Worgen area I can get about 15 before I reset. From doing this process a few times, the hardest work is deleting and recreating the new character. I have thought about using mouse broadcast for deleting but it is a little risky and i could delete a level 85 by accident lolQuote:

Might do the level 1 grind later this week, but since the patch i've gained 8 levels just boosting teams up to 80 and taking a few to 85. I'm loving the change. May even hit 17 before MoP!

the follow-ups for Beyond the Graves and The Executor in the Field both took longer than they seemed, so I just skipped them.
I used mouse broadcasting for a lot. It makes things a lot faster. If you want to be more careful, you could try filling each account with random placeholder toons so they all have the same number of toons on them, making it so that the ones you are constantly creating and deleting are always in slot 8 or 10 or 11 or whatever on every account. Then you can broadcast the mouse to make sure you are selecting the bottom toon on all the accounts at once before deleting.Quote:

On the accidental deletion of a character i NEARLY deleted one of my mains lol, broadcast was on by accident and I was not paying attention, what saved me was he had heirlooms on that account. What this made me think to prevent accidental deletion I can also send all my alts something in the mail and that would also prevent deletion.Quote:

Khatovar: Do you think about 20 hours from 17 to 25 sounds about right? I have been doing some math based on XP requirements per level I found pre-patch and I am wondering if 20 hours sounds about right, this is 8 minutes per run, at a total of 144 runs.
That sounds about right. I spent about 5 days on it, a few hours a day but I was also working on a few things at the same time, so it was like "4 runs here, an hour on this, a couple more runs, make dinner..." lol

I'm doing some leveling with alts and i've got no guild xp gain now.
guild stuff seems to be bugged today. not seeing people that are online on the guild roster, i did a run earlier and didn't get xp or the 250g.. etc
Well I finally hit 25 with my 10 man boosting. By the the end I was doing 25 quests on each login which took 30 minutes a run. The Worgen starting area just seemed the quickest.

Yes, that quest is a pain BUT it is the only quest there that is collection and once you complete it you can do close to 25 quests in less than 30 minutes.
Make sure you do all the candy buckets quests.. easy 60K guild exp per quest per toon
