As nice as driving through the hill country in Texas was this weekend, this is much nicer scenery. :)
BTW, what is it that makes that river in Bern such a pale blue-green color?

It's melted glacier water, it's very clean :)
unless you wanted a more scientific answer - which i don't have ;)

There are some fantastic photos there. Do you have the EXIF info for the first photo. I'm curious about your shutter sped, aperture etc...
What camera were you using? I'm a bit of a photographic buff.
EDIT: I'm surprised just how much Switzerland looks like New Zealand.

Heh, being a native kiwi and having visited some parts of Switzerland, I move that dancook comes to New Zealand (the South Island specifically) and takes some photos so we can compare the two countries.
