Am I the only one holding out? My server is barren now. They need to consolidate servers or this game is dead.
I cancelled all my accounts at 1.2 with all the beeping noises.
I'm in.. just activated a second account last week and got up and running. I'm on Thana Vesh.. seems to still be a good number of folks playing there.
I've definitely enjoyed the game, have four accounts still open, and think I'll keep playing, but in the last ten days I've been having more fun soloing/duoing/trioing Dragonsoul in WoW.
I sure hope SWTOR survives and does well - it just needs more time to create some of the quality of life game systems that we've come to expect from WoW. After so much investment from EA and Bioware, it would be a travesty if the game didn't survive after having created 80% of what MMOers want.
^^ What you said Mercurio.
I hope to see them come out with some really interesting expansions and serious plays on this whole light side/ dark side thing.. I mean, at what point does a Dark Side Jedi actually fall and become part of the Empire?? Would be a great player experience to progress through and get to experience extended character development (companion development as well).
I'm going to be patient .. I think they'll layer on some even more quality as time progresses.
I'm still playing - on Shadowlands server - 2 sages are my mains now.
I'm on swiftsure, RMP, and krath. I play almost every day with my 4 accounts.
I am still playing. I happen to really like the game, solo or boxing.
I am stupid casual though so it takes me 10 times longer to get anywhere than even the normal guys out there, let alone the hard core players.
I only have 1 50, a Sorc. I played him to 50 right before 1.2. Now I am taking my time leveling a group sages.
I play once in a while... just waiting for MoP, so don't log into WoW much either.
Its the end of the expansion downer... same thing happened in wrath. It will really pick up when mop releases
I've got 4accts on The Swiftsure and RMP, mainly play on Swiftsure
Imperial side, main is Kaydyn.
I'm playing and loving it. I have my BH duo on Taris now having just completed Act 1. So much fun that I can't see straight. I'm about to get another two accounts and go with the fourboxing I think though. 3 troopers and a Jedi Knight maybe. Or maybe 3 Inquisitors and a Warrior? I dunno, but these are the kind of decisions that I love! #firstworldproblems
I'm dual boxing this on two different servers (The Harbinger & Mind Trick) and really enjoy it.
I still play. just started dual boxing it. enjoyed it so much I dedicated my life to swtor
Had the urge to play again, went so far as to update the client....that's about as far as I got.
Now that I am at the grind wall in EQ1 ( AA grind ) its getting rather boring. It was a fun remissness of what no other game will ever give me. I have been longing to fire up two of my 4 swtor accounts and finish leveling them. Just waiting for MoP release date to be announced so I can plan my come back for that.
I may have said this somewhere else, I can't remember for sure. SW:TOR was the shortest game I have played in a very very long time. It took about 3, maybe 4 casual evenings to reach max level and about that amount of time to max out the gear. The story line I played through (sith jug) was cool. The game has so much potential, but it was clear that it fell short in huge ways in my opinion. I know back in the day EQ1 burned a lot of bridges with the treadmill leveling system that took months, even years for some people to max out. But you cannot launch a game that relies on a customer coming back month after month with a fist full of dollars when there is a week and a half's worth of content for a casual play style and a few days at best for the hard core.
I didn't make it to the second month.
Yeah I quit for the moment.
With the servers all consolidated now there are a ton of of ppl on at all hours. The Bastion is the server that RMP can transfer to.... transfer your characters now!!!! They will eventually mold the game into what everyone is looking for. I'm having a blast right now! I've finally started doing PvP and it is a ton of fun.
I plan on revisiting this game in the future for sure. I also felt it had huge potential, but was in need of much more. It has added some of it. I'm sure i will burn out on MoP faster than previous expansions, due to the fact I've been playing WoW so long. Also i miss Vette and Maco 8(
Lyon after the server transfer the game has new life. I have 5 lvl 50's and we raid Tues, Thurs, & Sunday every week. LFG is nice to run hard modes.
Yep, Pinot has gotten me back into it as well. With the LFG tool you can even run operations (raids).
I have a team at 50 that is soloing hard modes and I'm having fun running ops and leveling up an all stealth team.
Merc - what is your new team composition? Are you leveling up your new stealth team for pvp?
I tried to go play again but they wont let me in, the answer to the security question I wrote down is apparently wrong. I'd have to create a new account with a new game.
Their email reps, while very fast in responding, were very rude. All because I asked for the number of their relay service after being told I would have to call customer support.
USA, Canada: 1-855-GO-SWTOR (1-855-467-9867)
UK, Germany, France: 00800 0246 9273 (008000 BIOWARE)
Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore: +800 0246 9273 (+8000 BIOWARE)
Ohhh. My bad!
I sent a note to a friend who still works there asking whats up and if they have a TTY line/relay service of their own.
How do you multibox if you are deaf? I couldn't imagine learning isboxer without Mirai or invis's videos...lol
touche
I have sever tinnitus, and am just two cents away from deaf myself. Way too many years, playing Jazz trumpet, Gunshots, and mortar fire.
I also make sure I can read the text in videos.
In fact, My beloved wife any more, takes all my calls. Well between Deafness, and just being an anti social SOB, that is. :D

Riiker, no, I don't really enjoy PvP and haven't since grinding arenas to a decent rating 4 years ago in WoW. The stealth team is primarily to be able to skip a ton of trash in the HM FPs ( from which you can rack up BH comms pretty quickly and get close to BiS gear).
The team hit 50 a few days ago, so I'll need a bit of gear before I try the HMs. But between sleep darts, stealth, and even restealth from combat, I can eliminate over half the fights I'd have to do on my other team.
Team is an assassin and three operatives, BTW, though any combination of assassins and ops with at least one of each would work.
Wow! I'm still working on my first team getting to 50! I'm level 41 and just started the planet Voss. I'm hoping that doing my class quests will be enough to level me on my last two planets.
After I get this team to 50 and pretty well geared I might try a stealth team too. Let me know how those HMs go.
Riiker, I think I started Voss around level 45 or so. I doubt you'll hit 50 with just Voss and Corellia to go. Here's something I found very helpful: get to 47, then head back to Belsavis. There will be a bonus series that opens up that will give you about 15 or so daily quests to do (3 of which are heroics that are challenging but fun). Level up to 50 by repeating these each day. In addition to faster XP than Corellia, you'll be making plenty of credits and earning Daily Commendations which can be used to buy some great gear (though you need 120 or 200 of them per piece). Much better way to finish out leveling and give you a boost into the credits and gear you will want at the end game.
The server I started on was absolutely dead the middle of February. My guild which had cleared all the 16man content on NM was basically the only active 50's on the server, so we all eventually bailed out. It got to the point where I actually had to bring my Sentinels or my Commando's to fill raid slots (Karagga was oodles of fun with 2 sentinels, and so was the platform minigame in EV :( ).
Anyways, I'm thinking about re-upping here shortly. Merc if you're still playing I wanna pick your brain a little! My Sentinels/Marauders were absolute blenders in PvP, how would assassins supported with a Operative do, do you think? (I saw you don't PvP much) but end game for me gets a bit boring without some pubstomping ;p PvE wise, I imagine assassins supported by Operatives would probably be ideal for a stealth team 2x2 or 3x1 any combination thereof.
Mercbeast! You absolutely need to come back. The Bastion PVP server is extremely active right now. I'd really like to have another boxer on my server.
Youre talking about doing THE dailies? I was looking and I didnt see where the bonus series on Belsavis started. Also, are you saying that I should finish my class quests on corellia then do dailies or just when I'm lvl 47?
Btw, thanks for the advice! I'm getting so antsy trying to get my very first team to 50!
