somewhat related: I have 8 wow accounts on my battle.net - one of which has paid for 1 year agreement - does that mean I can't get in the beta because I maxxed out the wow accounts (I wish they'd put the beta in a different set/quota) ? can I ask CS to put my beta on another account ?
I have 8 accounts and I had Cata Beta which they have removed from my account. So I say your fine. Not to mention I have D3 and D3 beta on my account page too.
PTR accounts do not count toward the limit of eight (8) World of Warcraft accounts per Battle.Net Account. Beta is considered a PTR account.
i just did two more annual passes on two of my other bnets.. knowing that at some point ill be able to 3 box ( all annual passers get in ) I was playing one of my shaman in beta and it just feels wrong.. really hard to know if i will enjoy the changes or not unless i can box it. SoOOoo, ill be waiting to play anymore beta until the other accounts are in.
ATM you can not use addons.. will that make it unboxable with ISboxer?

Uber lagfest at the moment with lots of people creating new pandas.
Gonna chill hoping they add more new zones. Lots of fun new mechanics in the start zone though, lovely scenery too.

I'm pretty sure the PTR ones used to count toward the 8 max but I'm glad if that's not the case anymore... still waiting for my wow beta (I have the D3 beta and SC ptr ones)

Been in Beta on one of my 3 B-net accounts. Lag as Ashley mentioned is pretty tough. Right now any object needed for questing, has disappeared from the game once it is looted the first time. For example, The scroll that everyone needs at the beginning once it goes, it goes for good. I think it just recently broke though.

So not wanting to hijack the thread, but are the graphics any better than current WoW? I am wanting to come back following a break to play Rift and I am finding the graphics looking pretty dated. Now I don't expect Rift graphics but I would be interested to hear improvements on shaders and overall textures in the game.

MoP is even more cartoony looking. Its like playing in a Disney movie.
I dont mind the cartoon look, very pleasant looking to me. But people used to the xbox360/PS3 graphics probably wont like it too much. WoW seems to be trying to hook people of a younger age.
I got both my MoP and Diablo 3 beta key today. I checked 2 days ago nothing. Got the MoP email. Boom - both there.
And of course... this is the weekend i'm supposed to be the most productive with my time workwise...
Yeah I got beta too... same day that 1.2 launches for SWTOR. Hmm, coincidence? Blizzard why didn't you give me beta when I had a bunch of free time!?
I actually like the character model design etc, but the textures are looking a little tired, not really wanting WoW to look like Rift, rather just have the game look a little sharper in the world textures than it currently is. ;)Quote:
