What? More info please :)
Been fixed in the EU already (Outland EU just gone down for reboot).
Basically, Seal of Righteousness, hit a target, ???? before you know it, 400k+ DPS per ret paladin.
For some reason in between buffing hunters some retard at Blizz made it proc 18 times a second.

We're aware of this issue and looking into it right now. It's likely we won't have further updates for you until we're back in the office in the morning PST.

Paladin in LFR doing 1.3 mill dps with this bug :(
The statement of that blue is even more retarded than the bug itself. The bug happened when you played your class properly, nothing tricky had to be done. It's like saying that everyone who played his ret paladin in the past 24 hours risks to get banned. It takes actually addons (to analyse parses) and above newbie knowledge to figure out what was wrong. They should either freeze all paladins until it was hotfixed, add some lines to latest news when you log in or STFU about the rules.
Sidenote: we were playing 3s with a new healer last night, and we got absolutely raped by every team with a ret, giving our healer shit why he couldn't keep anyone up and ended up ditching him. Now we know why :D

The bug where paladin Seals could sometimes cause excessive damage has been fixed. This bug came as a result of a hotfix we put in to fix an issue where some attacks, such as Scatter Shot, were still causing Vengeance in PvP situations. While these things may seem totally unrelated, it has to do with our proc system, which is an extremely complicated mechanic under the hood. We reverted that hotfix, meaning you may sometimes see Vengeance in PvP. But we don’t think that will present a major balance concern at this time.
To be clear, we have no current plans to take action against players who experienced this bug last night unless we come across any extreme cases. The error was ours and we haven’t seen any evidence -- so far -- of players excessively exploiting the bug. We reserve the right to take action if we do find evidence of players crossing the line to repeatedly exploit this bug for major in-game advantages.
It boggles the mind how something like this could be implemented, its like they dont test these patches at all.
I played a few hours in BG's last night on my 5x ret's. It was a complete faceroll. With Seal of Righteousness on, most packs of players would die within 1-2 seconds. I didn't do arenas because I didn't want to take a chance getting banned, but did have alot of mostly harmless fun and got a nice amount of honor gear to boot.
Last night was the first time I ever lost a 1 vs 5. I'm killing people in av and all is going well. Then a pally rolls up to my team and poof...they are all dead. I had no idea wtf had happened.
Once I figured it out, it was quite funny. It was also interesting doing bgs and running away from pallys
