Usually i dont reply on your topics because i dont like the way you act since basically you always act like it was a breeze and you dont really care you got high rating.
From a multiboxer to a multiboxer point of view i would like to say Gratz man, thats fudging awesome
Or just a small fish in a big pond.
There are 7 billion people in this planet, with lives all equally as complex as each others, yet so different from one and another, all looking for the same things in different ways, each facing their own unique disappointments and successes. You're you, I'm me, we're the same.
Please leave your elitism at the door as big fish small pond only applies if you're a fat ass.
Easy guys- he did post this in the screen shot area.
It is not easy in 3s atm with mages and rogues with weapons/ vial.
Grats Shodokan.
I just recently got my guys their t2 weapons myself.
how is the mmr fix .. less fishy stuff at 2k+ ?
I'm confused as to how 2200 is elitism, but being a big fish in a small pond in this case is very true because i don't see others in this small community doing the same thing.
You are right though... you have your own goals, disappointments and successes in comparison to me. But just because we are multi-boxing doesn't mean that how one gauges success in arena isn't the same as a single person who doesn't multi-box, its very hard to argue that one's success can be based off anything but the nominal system they give us. But if you want to argue the whole "fun" thing then i have as much fun and frustration as anyone in the community.
Thank you to those who appreciate this. Also vial of shadows is freaking stupid. Dying in half a shadow dance if you get a single shatter off is super frustrating.
Basically you don't see really bad players breaking 2300 anymore.
Theres an ignore feature on this message board. Use it like the half of the community that really does have a true distaste for me.
one question, what in the screenshot shows the rating? i don't see a title or anything or am i missing something, i've tried arena's myself but tbh i really suck at it, lol. but 2.2k is no small feat and i will say gratz to that, as long as there wasnt' anything fishy going on. but that is f'n awesome
Gratz.
The gear.
As for his elitism, i am going to take Shodokan's side this time, I hardly call 3 words elitism and he didn't get started with the big fish stuff until he was provoked.
To be fair..
"Usually i dont reply on your topics because i dont like the way you act since basically you always act like it was a breeze and you dont really care you got high rating."
... that was completely unnecessary.
Congrats on the rating mate, now do it with shams :P
Sorry to be an ass, but people only rate you on your worst visible occasion, like that time you removed everything because of the 'community'.
I appreciate you got to 2.2k, probably meant a lot of hardwork, but you could have put a few more words into your post rather than just "2.2k Again" as if its ez mode and sharing some details like "oh darn those melee classes raped me worse than the end scene from human centipede.. (barbwire into the anal cavity)"
Would like to see you attempt PVE (not LFR) though...
I dun find OP arrogant, and not an attention seeker, at least for past few months. He stated his goal, and now he achieved it. So,
GRATZ
Congratulations!
Like you stated. You and I are our own people. PVE might be yours... at one point it was mine but no-longer interested in that aspect of the game (i would prefer not needing to do LFR or raiding.
As far as what gave me trouble. If people REALLY want me to go into a list of what problems I had I'd be glad to. But like you just said, people are sour towards me to begin with so I didn't find a real reason to do so, so I just stated i achieved my first goal for the season and will be attempting gladiator rating as the season progresses.
Grats. That isn't an easy thing to do multiboxing. You definately know what you're doing.
the reason i asked about what in the SS showed rating was because i didn't know, i wasn't trying to be a smart ass or anything, i jst don't know the dif in the gear/colors and all that. didn't mean to rile people up.
2.2 sounds great, gratz! so you are playing arenas or rbgs?
Still playing 2 DKs with a palq friend? Whats your usual tac? Hardest comp to counter? What other goals do you have tis season beside going glad?
Ohh, and BIG grats :)
Gratz Colin!
Did race changing to human help a lot? I notice on your profiles you use 2 damage trinkets instead of one being the pvp trinket. How mcuh of an advantage did this give you?
I play two dk + ret and two dk + holy paladin.
Usual tactic is kill the healer.
Hardest comp to beat is kitty cleave and rogue/hunter/hpally
Other goals?
2200+ playing with all of the following. Multiple rets, multiple enhance shaman, multiple dks, and a warrior (multi-warrior is dumb). POSSIBLY also trying double mage as a serious comp.
Human doesn't make a huge difference to be honest. With the nerf to vial of shadows i rolled human for nothing really. Though the extra damage trinket REALLY doesn't hurt and can make for some sick damage.
Human doesn't make a difference is the dumbest thing I've read all day from a PVPer.
If I was a caster or melee and could pick human, I would for sure pick human. Trinkets are out of control. However, once you get higher in ratings it can really depend on who your queuing into, if I am playing against trip dps I will wear max resil and 2 resil trinkets.
only people who use vial are rogues/hunters and feral and for those it will still be really good. Enh shamans I guess too but they cant be human, I would choose on use trinket anyways for them.
I like the BE racial and the NE racial just as much as the extra trinket personally. The extra trinket makes a difference but not as large as many people insist.
My WAR/SHM/DK comp gets creamed in 3s.
I know the general feeling of multiboxing is to play the same class but that bores the crap out of me. How do you manage on a different comp?
Play a holy paladin. Or better yet only dual-box opposed to playing the healer as well.
TSG requires some skill to play correctly. You need to control from the warrior otherwise you will not get everything out of him you should be. I played TSG last season to 2200 as well as ret/dk/priest and a few other multi-class comps.
Ok so the paladin I have at 64ish should be priority then.
Any particular reason why the holy paladin is a better choice than the resto shaman? Is it only because of bubble? Better single target healer? Easier rotation?
I play from the healer perspective all the time. Even when running the DK as blood tank in groups. It's actually not the hardest thing in the world. I run into issues when both my dps are controlled in arena and I can't get a peel out of them. That or I run up against lock/hunter/priest or something equally annoying and get controlled/silenced 100-0 on my resto.
Let me know if this holy paladin is worth my time to level and gear. Having done this cata trip 5 times already makes me iffy. ;)
Hm.
The thing is, if I don't lead from the healer pov then I have to keep in mind his position. That to me seems more work than watching where the CTM are.
How do you handle the healer from the warrior point of view? Do you still use ctm? Or do you just abuse death grip and keep the healer planted?
You don't run warrior + dk + healer by yourself is how =P. If you insist on it your charges aren't going to be used properly or on cooldown.
Personal opinion. Keep at it though. Most maps your CTM is just going to run around a pillar and LOS your healer if you don't position yourself correctly even from the healer PoV.
See, there is this little bit about CTM that has them run past the target often. I use it to get a charge off at times. Although, it's not as reliable as someone being behind the controls all the time.
So I shouldn't box it is the basic answer. I have to wonder though if being at the reins as a holy paladin would work better than a resto shaman.
Just because of bubble. They'd force the bubble sure but teams sub-1800 probably don't know much about that.
thats awesome, congratz.!
...grats! =)
