So happy to see this. More WoW to go around!

Wow, I may have to actually break down and get a few more accounts to RAF up all my level 60s to 85. Between all the heirlooms, RAF, and such low prices, it would cost very little in time and effort to have more capped toons.
Do you know if the battle chest comes with free 30 days of game time?
Seems alot of savings for the battle chest if each comes with 30 days. $5 a month versus $15.
Wow thats really crappy of blizzard....
Bad EU.
I'm very tempted to pick up a few more accounts with this sale. I'm currently dualboxing and have had some dreams of taking it up to a 5-man team. Just don't think I want to sink $75 a month in subscription costs on a hobby...
I am quite sad, that the "sale" in EU is 25 € for Cata. Which is like 34 $.
Best Buy is currently having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on games $29.99 and up. It works for wow time cards too from what I've read. No idea how much longer the promo will last though.

did any one buy the sale and not get the mount and pet yet? i haven't gotten mine.
Question(s) with this sale.
I completely forget how this works when it comes to RAF.
1) Do I have to set up the RAF when I purchase?
2) Do I have to use the RAF immediately? (Like, is it possible to purchase these and then use the RAF in march?)
I will have a ton more time in March to level another 5 accounts, but I wanted to know if I have to use the RAF immediately....
Bonus Question: I remember reading a while back that they are removing the questing while in a raid restriction... Has this happend yet... and if so, does that mean I should RAF my 10 accounts together and level 2 sets of 5 at the same time? (like 10 mages together?)
You don't need to set up and use RAF right away. You can hold on to them and use them whenever.
Raid restriction was discussed for MoP, not now. You still can't do normal quests in raids.
Does this mean if I have been saving three battlechests and one Vanilla wow and one TBC box that the TBC might not still be valid?Quote:
No. Game keys do not expire and hold the same value they did when you purchased them (unless you've got spare
TBC expansion keys).
By the way, thank you so much for this post. I have been checking the wow community site for this and didn't think I might be missing the sale via the launcher.
-Grail
p.s.- I just tried to buy more than 5 Lich Kings and it said I was over my limit. I did buy five successfully. Just trying to cover all eventual possibilities. Might have to have a friend order me a few more. Do hope I get to do this one day after all of the outlay of cash! Thanks again MiRai!
Burning Crusade keys are useless because a Vanilla key will give you both Vanilla and Burning Crusade. This was a
change that Blizzard made quite some time ago.
You can buy as many as you'd like but, only 5 at a time. Once you finalize a purchase with a payment then you can refill
your cart with up to 5 more.
MiRai,
First, thanks on the heads up about TBC. My brain is a little foggy. But clearing up fast!
Also, I am not one hundred percent sure if that is correct (that I can buy as many as I like but only five at a time). First, I ordered three vanilla wows and four Lich Kings, (all digital downloads). Then I attempted to order One boxed version of Lich KIng and three more digital copies (so that is only four) and I also threw in two half priced Panda Monks at five dollars each and one Winged Guardian. Anyway, it said I was over my limit. I nixed the three digital copies and the order went through.
I will run over there now and see if I can place more orders.

I purchased 9 Battlechests and 9 Wraths total between 2 orders (5 of each and then 4 of each) that were placed
within 10 minutes of each other using the same Battle.Net account and payment information. If it's changed from
the first day of the sale then I don't know.
I just tried to buy 3 more Wraths and 3 more Cata's and it wouldn't let me. Maybe I will call them tomorrow. Any idea how long the sale is for? I think it lasted a week last year?
-Grail
Sale goes until the 19th of December.
I'm also curious if theres a limit to how much of one item you can purchase as I was considering stocking up on some keys to use later on also. Let us know what they tell you if you call.
Also for anyone that has bought copies of the game and expansions so far. Could you confirm if you get the gift options they give you keys you can save and use later. I wanted to get some to hold until later when I have more free time to use it.
Are you getting an error message when adding them to your cart or upon attempting to pay?
There shouldn't be a need to gift anything. When you purchase digital copies the keys get sent to your BNet e-mail. The keys
will then sit in your e-mail until you decide to use them. The keys are also listed in your transaction history for whichever BNet
account you used in case you lose the e-mail.
I wasn't tracking the max of 8 accounts on a battle.net until MiRai mentioned it in this post. I just googled it and hit the post below that said this guy had 10 on his one account. Does anyone know if they changed the max from 8 to 10?
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2868798080
Hi MiRai,
It is when I attempt to pay.
-Grail
Ok Thanks.
I will see what I can find out.
-Grail
I tried using a family member's credit card and it says:
"You have already purchased the maximum quantity of this item."
:(
-Grail
Looks like 8 accounts is still the cap... nuts... I wonder if I would be able to transfer a character to the other battle.net account giving him all of the heirloom gear I'd need for the last two accounts before I transfered him...
"10 DEC 2011"
To answer your question, a Battle.net account can have up to 8 World of Warcraft accounts attached to it at one time. Though if this is something you're interested in, you can have multiple Battle.net accounts registered to you.

Thanks to MiRae and Mercurio for your input,
I did finally get it to work. WoW gods came through for me I suppose. I got the idea to change my order to be 3 boxed versions of Wrath and though I had to pay 10.63 in shipping, it appears to have gone through.
That should cover me for a dual boxing run, a five boxing run following, and another five boxing run with three new accounts linked to two of the first five.
I do hope i get to do this one day...
I finally have all of the physical components. That's a relief anyway.
I am going to go out in 30 degree weather now, listen to my Pink Floyd and look up at the stars.
My Best to everyone,
-Grail
Got my 3 full sets in the mail last night :D Gotta wait until after the holidays to try and start the RAF since I don't want to waste 10 days being out of town right off the bat (I have the 2nd off and I think that I'll start then).
Looking forward to wrecking some faces on a 5 shaman team. :)
I've been waiting for this kinda break in prices for waaaaay too long! Been hanging with the woman these past few months, and funny how money gets tight with a significant other around. Anyways, just now ordered my 4 copies of Wrath that I've been needing for quite some time now.
Aside from that, missed the forums and community here! Great to be back!
