I'm new to WoW (I have a level 37 Druid) and multiboxing. I want to level 2 new toons to 60. Since I'm getting 3X XP it seems like it would not be wise to do all the quests in each area. But I don't know how to go about leveling in an efficient way.

?? This a real question?
Do quests, Ding, Grant levels, move on. Since you only get 3X exp for a while, why even consider doing all the quests in the zone? They'll likely be green or grey before you leave it.
Not unless you like doing quests that are 'gray' which you don't get 300% XP for.
There is no secret path to leveling nor is there a big list which tells you exactly which quest to do. People tend
to skip collection quests because they can be quite annoying, however, you can't skip all collection quests
depending on the zone you're in or the quest chain that you're on. There are many different paths to choose
from while using questing to level that each person tends to do it their own way.
Since Blizzard has reduced the XP needed to level time and time again and has recently increased the level at
which RaF cuts off, leveling (regardless of method) is easier in every way.
I was legitimately asking the question. Since one can read into text the posters mood, rather than hear it,... mine mood is of curiosity. Not malicious.
I asked because its not common to hear from a frist time wow player who goes straight to boxing. Its very curious to see a new player, get into wow, box it without understanding the game mechanics already. I also ask, since there was only 1 post count, and lets be honest, people do troll.
So, if I offended anyone with a "retarted" response... (wink Fen..lol) I do sincerely appologize.
Just as Mirai stated:
New to wow tips.. You get different experience gains for the same quest completed, depending upon its difficulty as related to your current level. I.e. a level 37 toon, doing level 37 quests.. are YELLOW quests, and grant the std exp for completion. Whereas a level 37 toon, doing level 30 quests... are GREY quests, grant you nothing short of beans. Also, doing RED or Orange quests (higher level than your toon), will give you the most bang for your buck, however please note, they are a little more challenging.
You "can" begin to do dungeons at level 15 with your toons, and using the Looking for Dungeon feature of the game... Doing dungeons, you will be presented with Dungeon Quests (that are one time only), and will give you A LOT more exp when you complete them. Dungeon mobs are elites and also give more exp than killing a regular mob.
You "can" also, do battlegrounds (PVP) for honor AND exp gains... (if you win.) Thats self explainatory.
"Typically" what players do, is quest.. skipping collection quests, and also do dungeon quests. You should ding a few times per hr a low levels, and you can grant extra levels to speed up your time in a zone. The first time you see a green quest, go immediately to the next zone.
GL; HF Relax. :)
With there being 10 different starting zones, each having their own sets of quests, people tend to find where
they like to level. I personally like Elwynn/Westfall/Redridge/Duskwood prior to going to STV for leveling an
Alliance character myself. I also don't mind Azuremyst/Bloodmyst Isle.
I realize that everyone eventually gets filtered into the same zones doing almost the exact same quests but
that's what is great about WoW's leveling content is that you're not exactly stuck on a static route. Don't want
to do Nagrand? Go do Blade's Edge. Don't want to do Borean Tundra? Go do Howling Fjord. I've played MMOs
where you're locked to the exact same leveling content each character you level up and man can that get
tiring.
It takes a few runs through to find out what you like to do and what's easiest for you. You can't just jump into
a game you know nothing about, start multiboxing it, and be a badass the minute you log in. Especially in a
game where approximately the first 80 levels of content isn't going to teach you much about what happens at
level 85.
I'm hardly offended. I'm guilty of giving retarded responses as well since I've seen the same questions asked
the past 2.5 years but, most of the time I'll just let a thread sit so other people can help the new guys.
After getting a Druid to level 37 I realized the game was no more challenging than it was at level 5. It was really boring. Then I read about Blizz making the early levels really easy because of the expansions. So I looked into ways to get past the boring part and here I am.
The toons are the same level so I can't grant levels.Quote:

That sounds good. I'll start paying attention to where new quests are.Quote:

The downside about experiencing the game using 3X EXP is you will too fast outlevel an area for the next area to be 'revealed' to you.
You clear out Trisfal way before it sends you to silverpine, and from silverpine to tarren mill.. etc etc.
Honestly, I would have leveled the druid to 60, then used that experience to know the best strategy for you. The reason 3x is awesome for boxers, is that most of us already know the best way to go about things for our individual play styles. Soem of us use LFD all the way through, others use BGs others quest grind, others do everything.
Going straight to boxing after maxing out at level 37 is going to be difficult. You will not know the next area and will too quick out level certain hubs before the next one is shown to you (This is painfully evident in BC).
Good luck questing, but I would either roll a tank and healer and just chain LFD since you don't know the desired route and will be lost more often than not.
I can see that my situation is not ideal. But I lost the motivation to keep leveling the druid. There was no challenge and it was too boring.
So my options were to quit WoW or multibox.
Yanno, I can see a lot of validity in these kind of comments. If a fairly halfway competent individual is able to pick up wow for the first time.. it hadnt previously occured to me that a fresh set of eyes may become easily bored with the 2/3rds exp req levels. "Back in the day", leveling 1-50 was a challenge, and fun. Then the introduction of 51-60, then 61-70, 71-80, now 81-85, and the change of exp gains to levels 1-80. For those of us whove done this gauntlet of leveling far too often, its no big deal, and a blessing to not have to "re-hash" old stuff.
Interesting. Made me think today.
What level do I need to be in order to effectively WoW solo dungeons with 2 toons?
No idea, but I can say that if you are going in with say a tank/healer combo or dps/healer combo, it will be slow doing a whole instance with 2 people if that instance is green to red mobs. Red mobs = probably impossible.
I am going to try doing 60-70 instances with 4 DKS adn then 70-85 with 4DKs+1 Priest...
^ this. Well, its not impossible, however it will be a friggin nightmare, aside from a great accomplishment. I have seen videos of paladins, priests, and dks who have solo run level 70 dungeons, AT level 70. Its doable, but it will definitely be time consuming.
Anyone recall the priest who solo'd Kara? I got to see if I can find that video. It was nothing short of a mind-numbing feat, from a VERY seasoned veteran gamer.
For a new player, Id imagine you could potentially 2 man a dungeon, after it becomes grey, and falls off your dungeon finder list. You may have to physically run there.
It occurred to me that since I'm getting 3x experience I'm probably ready to go to another zone before I get a breadcrumb quest for the zone. I found a listing of zones and their appropriate levels.
Since I'm 3 boxing I should be able to go to those zones before someone who isn't multiboxing. Although I don't know how many levels before.
I'm wondering if the starting quests in zones require a certain level before they are available.
Go to wowhead, look up the zone you want to go to and pick some random quests. Wowhead should show the minimum required level to get the quest right on the quest description page.
easiest way is just to use google and search what lvl which areas are for and just jump when the quests get boring/green
Tho i have to say lvl 1-70 is best boosted(if you got a friend or something its sick fast)
