If I had to make a choice between the two, I would take castration over doing it again on five toons. The only reason it got done is because I'm ridiculously stubborn haha.
I have recently also completed the insane title. However I did not box it. I have both Bloodsail and the Shen'Dralar exalted.

I cant possibly imagine doing it X5. My hats off to you. I truely know what you went through. Question: if you are grouped, and turn in a set of Heavy Junkboxes, do all the members of the team get the rep? or just the one turning in? Darkmoon Decks too?

My God. Thats what I thought. Per player. The kill rep im sure was across players in group, but the turn ins.. My God.
People in my guild (im the only MB there), will often be heard as quoted.
Random dude: "Im bored, what should I do?"
Guild member: "get full raid gear"
Guild member: "work on the Insane title"
So yesterday after the achievement dinged....
Me: "Im bored, what should I do now?
Guild member: "uhhh shit i dunno... go outside??"

I have an old rogue that is 85 that I want to try to get the title on. Is the steps basicly the same no matter where your rep is currently at? Is there a up to date Insane guide? Most of all the search results come up with old guides before the grind got nerfed slightly.Quote:

There is a wiki somewhere, that you can script in the achievement status, and it will remain on your screen as a "tracked achievement", incidentally also allowing you to link it in chat or guild etc. That way, you can definitely confirm you have completed each step towards the goal. You can do it any number of ways, but as Mosg pointed out... Id also recomend getting your bloodsail FIRST, then goblin, then Ravenholdt and Darkmoon. Shen'Drala is no longer required, so you'll not have to worry about those G. Damn Pristine Black Diamonds.
I don't want to sound elitist, but if you're thinking about doing this on even one character...
Stop. Think about how many hours it will take to complete it. Remember that you get *nothing* for it other than a title, and there's no "half-way point" where you get, like, half a title and can stop. It's all or nothing... And in the amount of time it will take you to finish it you could have gotten a part time job and earned a fvcking down payment for a house.
Once you think about it in those terms then you're ready to accurately judge if it's worth the effort.
(The only reason I finished it is because I'm probably one of the stubbornest people on the planet and I hate stopping something once I've started)

I read somewhere a similar warning and they advised that you collect EVERYTHING you need BEFORE doing ANY turn-ins, so that if you change your mind at some point, you can at least sell the items.Quote:

Haha yeah, that' 10% from the guild and the 10% from the Human racial sure did help :)
Ya, that lil benefit, or lack of for my blood elf... pissed me off. What I had to do was acquire the "Diplomat" title, which gives you a 10% bonus to rep gains.
Thus my 1,820 regular deck turn ins, became a little more than 1,600 whew!!
I hear the darkmoon fair rep is the hardest, and I have that on my main, I am selling the deck turn ins (80 of the 350 each rep) for 30K on Nerzhul my server.
Thats great on 5 guys though, you will never drop those guys for a new character of another class lol ....
Yeah, I don't think I could do any more farming relating to the grind. My brain starts to shut down whenever I think about it haha.
