Stealthy's Guide to Elemental Shaman Outlands Gear - 2.0
Hi All,
This guide is designed to upgrade your gear in the shortest time possible, with the aim being to set you up to do the instances sooner, and make questing and pvp easier. The main stats I looked for when choosing my list of gear are Stam, Int, Spell Damage, Spell Crit & MP5 in that order. Also in a few cases I have also substituted leather gear where a decent mail part was unavailable
Now onto the guide...I have revamped the guide and split gear up by level now. The level requirement for each piece of equipment is based on the highest minimum level in the quest chain to get the item i.e. if the initial quest in the chain required level 60, but the last quest requires level 62 then the level requirement will be 62 for that item. This guide has been written from the Horde side, however there should be equivalent Alliance quest lines to get the same items. I have also noted where the quest lines are available to both factions. Colour of the item denotes quality (either blue or green).

I'm currently levelling up my shammy team (level 63 atm), so will update it with higher level gear as I progress.

Note - do the whole quest line to get the Leg upgrade as well.

Eradicate the Burning Legion
Note - these 5 quests involve entering the portal to outland, flying to Thrallmar and speaking to a few NPC's - should be able to complete them very qucikly.
Felspark Ravine
Note - kill 3 types of mobs near the quest giver. Easy!
Forward Base: Reaver's Fall
Note - just go and speak to the NPC to complete. Easy!
Disrupt Their Reinforcements
Note - Gather the runes from mobs on one toon, as using them to disable the portal updates the quest for the whole party. Easy!

Bonechewer Blood
Note - Gathering quest, drop rate about 40%, mobs just outside Thrallmar
Apothecary Zelana
Note - Just talk to the NPC near Reaver's Fall to complete, then to the nearby Wind Rider for a free ride to Spinebreaker Ride (if you don't already have the FP)
Boiling Blood
Note - Gathering quest, and a long one. Drop rate on the blood is about 30%, but you need 12 for each toon. You then need to covert each blood to boiled blood at the cauldron at 65,71. Each conversion will spawn a number of low health bugs that will eventually start attacking you. Magma totem will help a lot here.
Apothecary Antonivich
Note - Head back to Thrallmar and talk to the NPC to complete.
A Burden Of Souls
Note - The Orcs along the Path Of Glory will give you the required souls for the quest
The Demoniac Scryer
Note - Use the shard at the base of Hellfire Citadel, near the PvP area. There's a nice monster-free area there.
Report To Nazgrel
Note - Just talk to the NPC to complete.
The Foot Of The Citadel
Note - While this is available at level 58, its probably best to leave it until 60 unless you are getting help. You need to kill Gorax and then place the banner on his corpse - this will summon the Hand of Kargath (63 Elite) along with 2 non-elite adds. The elite likes to charge a lot, and hits fairly hard. Make sure you clear the area around Gorax before you kill him and start the event.
Legs:

Note - if you've done the quest line to get the Arcane Ringed Tunic, you just have to do two more quests to the Legs!

Note - Mob is a 63 elite with about 25K HP. You might want to leave this until 60 as you'll get a lot less resists on spells. Heal early and often! :)

Note - If you have done the quests for the chest piece and the leg piece, you will have already done most of the quest line to get this item.

Return to Thrallmar
Note - Talk to Nazgrel in Thrallmar to complete
Forge Camp: Mageddon
Note - Kill 10 mobs plus a named mob - easy!
Cannons of Rage
Note - Cannons can be found just behind Thrallmar - kill 3. Easy!
Doorway to the Abyss
Note - Kill the named mob for the quest item, then use it on the nearly legion portal.
Cruel's Intentions
Note - Watch for Infernals that spawn when he's 75% health. He cast's a lot, grounding totem will be your friend here. This quest is available at level 58, but once again, unless you have high level help, it's probably best to leave it until you hit 60.
