- Fire Nova now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards. Cooldown reduced from 10 sec to 4 sec. Now Ignites your Flame Shock spell on any nearby enemies, causing each of them to emit a wave of flames that deals 647 to 724 Fire damage to every other enemy within 10 yards.
- Improved Fire Nova has been replaced with Seasoned Winds - When you successfully prevent an enemy spellcast with Wind Shear or Grounding Totem, you gain [if (PL<=70) then PL else if (PL<=80) then PL+(PL-70)*5 else PL+(PL-70)*5+(PL-80)*7] resistance to that spell's magical school for 10 sec. (PL = Player Level, and if you're wondering, that's basically the same resist aura as any other spell)
Restoration
- Purification now increases the effectiveness of healing spells by 25%, up from 10%.

- Improved Hamstring now also reduces the global cooldown of Hamstring by 0.5/1 sec.
- Improved Slam now increases Slam's damage by 20/40%, up from 10/20%
- Juggernaut now reduces the cooldown of Charge by 3 sec but no longer increases the stun duration.

Only if you take the talent it becomes a 2 second cast and damage is reduced instead of the normal channeled version.
Earthquake is no longer a channeled spell. It now has a 2-second cast time, lasts for 10 seconds, and has a 10-second cooldown. Its damage has been reduced by 40% from its channeled version.
Hrm slightly more useful now. Possibly useful in pvp.

Wow. I'm so glad I canceled my accounts now. I was actually a bit excited about the new heroics and was comtemplating renewing, but once this change goes live, DK/4xRets are officially dead for pve and pvp. I don't see how this team could even remotely stand a chance now.

this appears to be a ret/prod nerf only, holy has a passive talent to remove CD.
If this goes live, ret boxing is not looking good. Have to box a holy paladin for PVE. PVP wise, it is not working anyway, even now. So nerfing it further won't change too much.
Since dispel cannot be cast on hostile targets without a talent, does that mean mass dispell does nothing if you dont have the absolution mastery crap?
Some of these changes seem like changes just for the hell of it.

Have they switched a bunch of wow devs and project managers recently or something? Its like new management has taken over and is grappling with learning how the game works and chnaging things to head in some new direction. I guess what im saying is that some of these changes along with 4.06 make it look like theyre groping in the dark.

here the new Shammy EQ changes its on 10sec cooldown and it lasts for 10secs so thats 100% uptime and a 50% of knocking a player over (with 5) looks fun for tower fights

Frost Strike is a large portion of our damage.
And Death Runes all the time.
That's an extra 1x Obliterate, or any combination of two Necrotic Strike/Howling Blasts.
Without the need for Blood Tap or Blood Strike anywhere in the rotation.

Ret is like a randomly prioritized rotation if that makes any sense. But with the new integrated power auras like HEY ASSHOLE PUSH THIS ONE! It is fairly easy and macroable.
Why DK's keep getting more and more is beyond me. WTB ele sham pvp changes (Playing 1 shaman in 3v3 mindset here)
Oh well my DK's are in the home streatch to 85 so I guess I'll take my buffs and go back to smashing people like an F18 Brah.
